Would you dare to disagree with him?
Walking the line between intelligence and ignorance since 1985
@deowade
Yeah, I'd disagree with him
He’s a fighter, but he’s also a regular Joe – that’s what comes out in these videos. And by disagree, I don’t mean violently so – but I personally don’t believe you should let anyone intimidate you into compliance :)

:)
Then get prepared to get punched in the liver by Bas. Hahaha jk.
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
That was hilarious Bandaka. Great come back. I agree with you Vik, that you shouldn’t let anyone intimidate you into compliance. However, there is a time to be brave and there is a time to be stupid. Now, Bas probably isn’t the guy that will f-you-up if you disagree with him, but not everyone is that way. Something tells me Brock Lesnar is or could have been a bully. At 5"10 180lbs of regular Joe, I’m not prepared to take Lesnar on because I don’t want to look like a puss. hehe.
I love Bas. Awesome dude.
I've been in Lenar's presence when he's less than happy
Back at UFC 84, Lesnar was one of three fighters who were taking part in an autograph signing session ahead of the weigh-ins (the other two were Kenny Florian and Evan Tanner)
Lesnar strolled in with just minutes to spare with a small entrouage surrounding him; I stepped forward and introduced mysefl and asked if he could pop around to the back of the curtain for a quick portrait photo. He gruffly said “This bettter not be for an interview ‘cause I ain’t got the time”
I looked him square in the eye and said “Nope, all I need are two quick photographs and that’s it.”; he grunted a little bit but stood where I asked him to and looked posed more or less the way I suggested.
Result?

When used as a nickname with "el" in front
an adjective like “guapo” becomes more of a noun…it translates to “The Handsome One”, not “The Handsome”
What I would like to know....
Is how did he cure himself of asthma? Was it the martial arts training or what?

He didn't.
You will find that a LOT of pro athletes suffered from asthma. Actually, a very high disproportionate amount of athletes suffer from that. While they sit inside wishing they were outside, it filled them with drive, I guess.

There are different levels of asthma. One you get as a kid and can grow out of it. One you get as an adult, and will probably cause problems for the rest of your life. I got “occupational asthma” when I was 30.

swung through the forest??
uhh…. i’m not calling bas a liar, but has anybody ever been able to swing from tree to tree EVER?

I’d say its pretty likely that Bas lies about a lot of stuff.
He just seems like one of those people who have made up a million stories to tell everyone to make themselves seem cool.
I dislike Matt Hughes. Shogun beat him like a dirty horse.
and then starts to think they’re real…. that being said, i love bas

Love Bas and love his stories
I’m sure as with every story, he exaggerates a bit, but I don’t know too many people who don’t add a little spice to their stories throughout the years.
Dude tells a good story. He’s often self deprecating and funny too.
Gotta love Bas.
