Let me know if it's worth a view, loyal readers. Usually the fight night video blogs are the best. I'm hopeful. Thanks.

Who is that at between 2:15 and 2:45?
talking with Dana?
I think he’s talking about the black guy in a suit.

Kenny seems like he really had a problem with his last fight, with the way he was saying “it wasn’t like last time, not like last time”. With all the events that happened post BJ-Kenny, I’m guessing he got really emotional about his performance…I was impressed with him against Guida.

Yeah Kenny looked great, and I’d been kind of rolling my eyes a bit at the “I’m completely reborn as a fighter” thing. So he shut me up. He really seemed quiet and humble about the win. I think Florian/Sanchez should happen next for the consolation prize.

I’d rather see either guy face Sherk if (ahem, when) he beats Miller. Rematch with Florian or long-discussed fight with Diego.

Anyone else who’s been destroyed by BJ in the last 2 years you’d like to throw in the mix? Joe Daddy perhaps?
The only thing Jon Jones does better than Matt Hamill is hear.

Are you suggesting they should all retire or making light of the fact that they have that in common?

Just pointing out that the 3 guys you mentioned happen to be the last 3 challengers to the LW title and none of them even won one round against BJ.

I’m not saying winner of the eventual fight gets a title shot, just that there are interesting fights in there.

I think both guys need to have a few more fights against lower competition, just to let them air out a bit, because BJ obviously isn’t going anywhere, and to start giving BJ rematches against guys he’ll still be able to destroy will just lose it’s luster.
I would really enjoy Frankie Edgar fighting Diego or Kenny, but I don’t think that’d be wise because him and Maynard are the only two left at 155 that should even be discussing a title shot.

“BJ obviously isn’t going anywhere”?
Are you TRYING to jinx this? :-)
Don't believe a word I say, I don't train BJJ.
I blog at TangleBones - you should follow me on Twitter here.
Definitely worth watching this one. Not too much Dana screwing around. Dana wishes good luck to a bunch of guys, BJ, Diego, Frank, Cheick, etc. Cageside reaction to Belcher’s win and in the cage after Penn/Sanchez. Some cool moments…

Great thing was, Buentello and Struve exchange right next to Dana and he’s looking at the little Screen =)
The Entrance of BJ was dope, really great too see it from behind, don’t forget to check out bjpenn.com for more lol
I also Love how much Chuck gets into the fights, making his own feints while Struve is unloading punches.
It could be Tendai Biti
The minister of finance from Zimbabwe.

I dislike Matt Hughes. Shogun beat him like a dirty horse.
Given that Zimbabwe issued a 100 triilion dollar bank note in 2009
I find it hard to beleive they have a Finance Minister.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
People who think Mir has a big mouth and talks too much, etc etc should pay attention to his focus and silence prior to his fight… you know, when it matters.
agreed…its when hes on camera trying to be the hype machine that pisses people off…but dudes just trying to make some extra bread.
It was cool to see him like that before the fight..
It looks like he was meditating. Far shot from what we normally see of him.

He is thinking: “Do I think I’m awesome? Of course I do, bla bla bla bla….” Inner pep talk, Mir style.

(Ok, since I was given a warning for calling the observation made by ruckus “absurd,” I’ll try to respond in a more congenial manner. My intent wasn’t to insult the poster, so sorry if it came off that way.)
Showing how he was meditating before the fight in no way negates the fact that he does have a big mouth and talks too much. Its not like he had much of an opportunity there to talk smack while in the locker room, his only possible targets for his ‘trash-talk’ was the wall or his trainers.
I’m not saying that Mir shouldn’t talk trash, or that he is a bad person cuz he does. On the contrary, I think its completely his choice. But people that do characterize him as having a big mouth are not wrong in their assessment. And his few moments of quiet in this video should do little to change anyones mind.
no worries
I was perhaps a little more vitriolic in my reply to you than I should have been.
You’re right of course, it doesn’t negate the previous things he has said and I do in fact generally agree that Mir comes off poorly when he’s hyping a fight. (I do still like the guy and I do still think it works well to sell fights which is good for basically everyone involved)
I just wanted to point out that there is another side to him and I personally feel that the fact that it is the quieter more focused side that comes out when the time for action has come and when the make up and bright lights are gone is important.
