Brazilian lightweight veteran Jean "White Bear" Silva announced his retirement from MMA to Tatame today, citing exhaustion and his current lack of a manager, among other reasons.
"After a 10-year career and 40 fights, I feel too tired to both train and manage my new training center here in Joao Pessoa... It's a very sad day for me, but sooner or later this day would have come. I think I've given my contribution to MMA, mainly in England, where I spent most of my career."

I thought he would have retired
when Imanari ripped his leg to shreds…didn’t realize he had fought (and won) since then.
we salute you!
He had a fine career. Only had one shot at the big time — took Gomi to decision in PRIDE — but represented BJJ in the UK very well. Best wishes to the White Bear.
