That’s all I got from this teaser. Need to see more stand up gameplay.
"You hit too hard, too hard, too hard..."
My list:
Cage use, southpaws, moderate graphics update, Kimbo.
Beyond that I’m guessing they updated the roster and stats while fixing the glitches that shouldn’t have been in 2009 to start with. They rushed it last year because THQ needed to survive and for whatever reason, Dana doesn’t like EA. I think this year will be the game they intended to release, and it will suffer from the reputation of the first. I’m worried for the future of THQ if this year’s Undisputed gets sales that are anything less than exemplary.
Bad reputation? Undisputed was a huge success.

Yeah.
The reputation as getting stale with poor replay value, lacking detail, and having nasty exploits in the online play… The sales were fantastic only because it’s the best MMA game available and EA MMA wasn’t announced yet, so people didn’t expect anything on the horizon. It was a huge commercial success, but the sales of Undisputed 2010 will be much more telling of the viability of the franchise with THQ.
They’ll probably sell 500,000 copies to guys who just want to play as Kimbo. That coupled with the fact that EA MMA still won’t be out by the time this is released tells me that this one will probably outsell 2009.
The only thing Jon Jones does better than Matt Hamill is hear.
(And smash faces)
That's certainly possible.
I’m not trying to be a downer on the game, I’m actually curious to see if people will throw cash at this game or not. I’m less optimistic for it. To be fair, I have no next-gen system and the quality of this game is purely intellectual to me.
I think that’s supposed to be Cigano.

I’ve gotta say, there is absolutely nothing in that trailor that makes me want to buy the game.

they hyped this trailer so much and yet it features <20 seconds of gameplay… and like 55 seconds of filler.
You expected more for the first official teaser for the game?
A release date and actual gameplay footage is good enough for me for a first shot at the new game.

yes i expect more… see the ea mma teaser trailer for an example of how to do a teaser trailer well and actually showcase your game.
u mean that other MMA game that has no release date?
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
“that other mma game” may not have a release date but to hardcores has alot more buzz… Uses the fight night r4 engine (fight night much superior game to undisputed) and will use the right stick or striking which I’ll admit is ackward at first but once you get used to it, you don’t want to go back to using the buttons. Undisputed wasn’t a bad game, but it had alot of exploits in it which led to se
very boring games when playing online. And hey, since undisputed has a release date and is seemingly closer to finished, shouldn’t they have more footage then the ea game?

this is a laughable comment. as stated the famed ea mma game has no release date. also, i really dont get tired of people crying about a teaser trailer from a game that still has six months until release.
its a teaser trailer to get fans interested and to start some buzz. i think they succeeded, no?

Most likely wont be buying this. Looks to be basically the same with minor changes. THQ is known for this with the WWE series I think. I’ll get EA MMA instead and then purchase a new UFC game when theres a major overhaul. Kinda like I do with Madden, I wait till theres a big diff in gameplay. I usually dont buy it every year.
Kimbo can easily be made via CAF anyway. lol
Mauricio Shogun Rua #1 LHW in the World. The TRUE Champion.
Mike Goldberg: "You know Joe, When Matt and his brother Mark Hughes were growing up, they would pound each other behind the barn."
They've made nice changes but they do need to expand the roster
Hopefully they fixed the clipping caused by Guidas hair, and hopefully they didnt have any problem with clipping by Roy Nelsons belly (Hopefully he is in the game)
as i said in the other post,
What’s interesting here is the match ups they chose to show..
Forrest vs Silva (already happened)
Tito vs Chuck (Already Announced)
Mir vs Cain
Kimbo vs Dos Santos
Koscheck vs Amir?
Will happen?
I think its because they were in the promo that they were there except Dos Santos who was there in the game just to make kimbo look good
Only half of Kimbo’s job with the UFC is fighting.
Keep firing Assholes!
Fedor has accomplished nothing until he fights Kimbo.
More like 10%
He’s gonna sell a ton of these.
The only thing Jon Jones does better than Matt Hamill is hear.
(And smash faces)
What is with all the “SO YOU WANT TO BE A FIGHTER” stuff?
No, I don’t want to be a fighter! I want to sit on my couch and play a video game! Leave me alone!

I wonder if Kimbo’s punching power is like 80-90 in the game LOL. It looks like there were some nice small improvements by THQ. Not enough footage from trailer to see improvements though.
P.S. I will post some updates from EA MMA in another post ASAP!
=)
Was going to add some other stuff but that’s probably better.

Cause he has "sources"

Please, I encourage people to read the post you decided to bring back. I explain myself in there.

I don’t care about graphical improvement, the game looks fine already, maybe they can add the walk in, spot lights, stuff like that.
Yeah career needs improvement: after you 2 first fights they put you against cain velasquez wTF, okay give me brock and I’ll do it, but my poor dude is not even 50 anywhere in his stats, and you fight guys that don’t go under 70 in any of their stats, that’s fucked up.
Stand up needs improvement, ironically enough, the game looks like a bad kickboxing game right now. I hope they changed that.
More chokes. And last personal request: KO/TKO by strikes to the body and legs.
Oh, and the new ring girls.
"You hit too hard, too hard, too hard..."
Yeah that happened to me in career mode too, won a few fights then got
put up against chuck liddell before I was ready, it’s pretty realistic though, fighters get thrown to the wolves before they are ready all the time
