Paulo Filho vs. Tatsuhiko Nishizaka at Bitetti Combat 5 last night in São Paulo, Brazil.

In the co-main event, Murilo "Ninja" Rua survived an early onslaught from Jason Jones to come back and TKO the Dutchman in the second frame.

Except that Filho’s striking is just appalling to watch.

For a sec i though he was hearing voices again

then the ref found what he was pointing at and mopped it up.

Apparently a pretty easy mistake to make…

cjamesnelson 10 seconds into main event, Paulo Filho starts pointing at the mat. I thought he was seeing demons again, but he wanted a wet spot fixed.

Was this at 185 or 205?

Well, Tatsuhiko looked to be 185 and Filho at 205. I’m sure that’s not accurate but Filho looked like he’s been letting loose on the cheese bread.

Always interesting watching a sport in which the commentators are speaking a language i don’t understand its like.
“…………………………………………………………………… kimura………………………………………..”
its the same thing when watching a hockey game on RDS
“………………………………………………………………………………………….Sidney Crosby………………………..”

That was as big a tooling as Ive seen. Expected given the calibre of Paolos opponent, but that was embarrassing for the his opponent.
