I can’t believe he was doing the “YES!” stuff in the line before the weigh in. He honestly looked like he was going to kill somebody, and the next day he will get to attempt to do that and get paid doing it. I think BJ will win though.

I’m not so sure that wasn’t getting to BJ a bit. They were both getting pretty psyched up back there.

You know, if Diego is all centered, zen and so at peace, then why does he always look just like the angry drunk college guys I see downtown getting into fights on Saturday nights?

While these fighters are professionals, I have to wonder if one of these days two of the fighters who are supposed to fight each other will end up getting into a fight in that line to get weighed in. I mean, they are right next to their opponents, and they are trying to cause physically pain the next day to that person who is right next to them.

These guys have been training and fighting for years. I highly doubt anyone would risk a paycheck for a little ‘satisfaction’ at the weigh in when they are about to fight the very next day.

Dont forget, a lot of the beef between guys fighting is manufactured too.

also why get arrested for beating the shit out of a guy when you get to do it for free in 24 hours.

by Riley_96 on Dec 12, 2009 5:15 PM EST up reply actions

for free = and its legal
was reading getting paid for it while typing and free came out.

Sounds like hype works after all.

I was waiting for BJ and his crew to start cracking up during the YUS!es.

I was half expecting BJ to crack a smile. Kinda disappointed he didn’t

I think he’s more annoyed by it than amused.

This has got to be one of the best Vlogs that Dana has done. Short and sweet, and focused on the fighters. The shot with Diego and BJ in the background while they are waiting to get called up was great.

Diego is not right.

Excellent display of the contrasts between the fighters tonight. Kenny Florian was yawning while Clay Guida was hooping around getting pumped up. Diego Sachez acting completely psycho while BJ Penn chats it up with friends.
