Dana White gives an update on Brock Lesnar:
"[Lesnar] did go to the Mayo Clinic," White said. "You can't listen to him. You've got to listen to me."
... "You know he is; he doesn't want anybody to know," White said. "He's a private guy. He doesn't want anybody talking about it."
..."I'm going to wait and see whether he has to have this major surgery before I make any big decisions. ... But it won't be long. We'll know about Lesnar in a month-and-a-half, and then I'll make that decision." (regarding an interim title)

He will be back soon
I heard he is already at 103%, he will be 175% by April.

He will be back
unless his trainers are just completely full of shit.
I think Dana is just realy trying to sell this whole “may never fight again” so that if he returns and dominates like he did than he can sell him as a guy who practically “beat death”
My bet is July in Boston at UFC whatever Lesnar vs. Carwin for the hw title, Big Nog/Velazquez winner getting next shot, and Mir/Kongo winner JDS/Yvel winner " in the mix" and you know Dana would say that shit too.
If Kongo and Yvel win and then it will be the rematch.
… “You know he is; he doesn’t want anybody to know,” White said. “He’s a private guy. He doesn’t want anybody talking about it.”
Really Dana? Then stop fucking talking about it.
I love me some Sexyama!
I think the problem that Dana has
is you know how mma fans are. It’s not just a lets wait and see if he comes back or not.
MMA fans what to know is he coming back, when, and what is wrong with him.
White’s in a tough spot. If he doesnt speak up then the fans “think he is lying or hiding info” but if he does speak up than fans blast him “for speaking on things that should remain private”.
It’s a lose/lose situation for Dana.
Exactly
People who support the UFC get labeled “Dana nuthuggers” but those who
do the exact opposite (hate on everything Dana says/does) think they’re somehow better than everyone else.
The only thing Jon Jones does better than Matt Hamill is hear.
(And smash faces)

Just the comment I would expect from a Dana nuthugger.

Not really...
I mean…it’s not unreasonable to want the true status of an athlete’s condition.

He’s only giving general information, he’s not going into detail about what they are doing to him. If he has to have follow-up serious surgery, I’d guess its either a) put in a colostomy bag and let the area of infected intestine recover or b) remove the infected area completely, shortening his intestine.
I have to agree with this in principle
Dana has an obligation to inform fans but he has a tendency to share specific details instead of general details.
He could have just said Brock is still seeking treatment to his ailment and we hope to receive a prognosis on his recovery in about an month. Instead, he goes onto to name the specific hospital and hints at another major surgery.
this is getting confusing…Can we get Ed Soares to clear things up..

If this was the NFL or NBA would there be this kind of confusion? Wouldn’t the independent reporters (which includes commentators working on the network broadcasts) get to the bottom of it? Doesn’t yahoo and Sports Illustrated have people on the payroll working the mma beat? Shouldn’t they be out their confirming or debunking reports coming from either camp?

@deowade
Anyone know why my fanshot about Tuscherer’s next fight got deleted?

No, I don't think so
Did a quick search to make sure and I didn’t see it anywhere.
For anyone that’s interested, he’s fighting Tim Hague in February.
