Dong Hyun Kim pulls out of UFC 110 Bout with Chris Lytle
This news comes courtesy of MMA Fanhouse:
Dong Hyun Kim has been forced to pull out of his UFC 110 bout against Chris Lytle due to a knee injury. No replacement has been signed just yet.
I have to admit, I am disappointed I was looking forward to seeing Kim take on a legitimate challenge in Lytle. Kim looked great in his UFC debut against an overmatched Jason Tan, but struggled with a split decision win over the underrated Matt Brown before losing a split decision to Karo Parisyan (later turned into a NC due to Parisyan's positive drug test.) Kim's last fight was a unanimous decision win over the Canadian T.J. Grant.

I don’t think I posted the link to the article correctly. Here it is, just for verification purposes.

The subject of the article is that Tim Credeur is injured and pulling out of the fight with Massenzio, and that Justin Wren has been cut by the UFC following his split decision loss to Jon Madsen at the TUF 10 Finale. The news about Kim pulling out of his fight is at the end.

Gerald Harris stepping in is awesome though.

I am a big fan of the “Stun Gun.” Stylistically, I can see this fight going the same way that Karo Parisyan vs Chris Lytle did in that Lytle will try to stand and bang while Stun Gun will use his judo and BJJ to take this fight to the floor. I think that Stun Gun would have won most likely by a decision.

Nah
I really doubt it after losing on short rest.

That was almost a month ago
and besides, Johnson didn’t suffer too much damage in that fight. UFC 110 is on Feb. 21st, which gives Johnson plenty of time to get back down to weight. I’m sure he also wants to get back on the winning track ASAP. Additionally, Johnson / Lytle would definitely produce fireworks.
