LAME! Choi vs. Schilt? Seriously? You might as well cart Choi into a grave after his career is over. These fights are retarded. Mousasi vs. Teixeira is the only interesting fight on the undercard. Overeem vs. Fujita = Dumb. Hari vs. Lebanner is another drubbing that Lebanner does not need to take. And to top it off… I have to sit through a Hiroya will win tournament that he’ll get gifted to him by the judges.
Already saw Souwer vs. Masato twice, and it’ll probably go the same way. Terrible card so far for hardcores, IMO.

Freak fights are typical. But they need more freak type stuff, this only contains the poor match making side. Who will wear a mask? Maybe add a moat filled with reptiles?

Give me a break, Supremacy. I know you’re all about pushing anything that’s good for Strikeforce or in Japan, but this card is garbage beyond garbage if that is the actual card. Those WVR vs DREAM match-ups better be epic.
And this isn’t loaded with typical Japanese freak fights. Lebanner vs. Hari is a career killer and Choi vs. Schilt is flat out dumb.

This is just the K-1 portion of the event. Since they JUST had an event, these fights were expected to be this way. The MMA fights will make the card.

A Couple of Notes:
- Looks like No Gomi.

- Randleman is willing to step in.

If we are going to announce rumor and speculation than I’m going to be the first to announce a Mike Tyson vs Melvin Manhoef K-1 fight and Sakuraba vs Hulk Hogan Texas Barbwire Match on NYE.

Theres plenty of good reasons for non-exclusive contracts for fighters, but man, SF is making THE case for having only exclusive contracts. Overeem has been tooling them and that belt for too long, if he hasn’t defended by April, I say strip him.

because his flying in the day prior to the k-1 max tourny worked out so poorly, jerome will now land in japan the day of the dynamite event. the jury remains out on this strategy.
I don’t think they have the money to pay for good fights. It’s insane the number of great matches they could setup, and in the in end I think it’s going to be just another run of the mill event, although with about twice as many run of the mill matches. For MMA this will be the worst NYE in the last 5 or six years.
Should wait until the fight is finalized before making that judgment.
