Did I not call it...
Im pretty sure it was on here but I stated Prangley should fight Lawler…I think this is a GREAT match for both fighters!! I got Prangley via Sub in the 2nd.
Akiyama and Maia to WW!!
Badr Hari is about to win a GP this weekend!!
Strikeforce must hate Lawler! Prangley was lurking around in Chicago I believe. Seriously horrible matchup for Lawler…..

How is this a horrible match up for Lawler?
Prangley’s submission skills aren’t on Shields or Jacare’s level.
Jacare would’ve been a horrible match up and that’s why Monte Cox turned down that fight, but I see Lawler pounding Prangley with body shots and finishing him in the second rd.
Nothing against Prangley but after the Radach rumors this match up is disappoining.

Great replacement matchup for Lawler. I didn’t want to see a squish match and we didn’t get one. Suddenly this card holds more interest for me than UFC 108.
OK suddenly is wrong because it suggest a very abrupt change. But it is a recent change for a couple of reasons:
1) They’ve confirmed Melendez and Thomson. I didn’t think it would actually be on this card.
2) I think Prangley is a bigger challenge to Lawler.
3) Gabriel Gonzaga is out of 108 so I can’t see JDS take on another top fighter.
Talent wise UFC 108 still has the edge (5 top 10 fighters and 1 top 25 on the main card versus only 4 top 25 fighters for Strikeforce) but Evolution definitely has the more compelling fights.
i’d like to see prangley back in a bigger stage. the guys done well against mid-level competition in the past.
Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.
