Matt Hughes confirms fight at UFC 112:

"I have a possible date for my next fight, they tell me that it is April 10th. I’ll tell you later who and where when I find out for sure if it is confirmed."

If Hallman wins on Saturday… it could be him.

Since Spider/Vitor is pushed back from 109, and 110 is set with Cain/Nogs and 111 with GSP/Hardy.

112 should have Spider/Vitor, and if Hughes is gonna be on that card.

How about Hughes/Kos as the co main event? A win over Hughes for Kos would get him the next title shot.

There’s no incentive for Hughes to be a stepping stone. Kos would destroy Hughes. Hughes will probably stay away from the AKA fighters.

Matt Hughes really doesn't fight much these days

If Hughes fights on April, then that will be close to a year since he last fought (May 2009 against Matt Serra). If Hughes only wants interesting fights (that he can win), then the options for opponents are limited.

Everytime I see Matt Hughes' name.

I hear GSP saying it in my head.

I was hoping for Hughes-Almeida at 109

they need some more star-power for that card. Almeida said his next fight is signed though, so I doubt it’s Hughes…maybe Swick or Alves?

That’s not exactly a confirmation. LOL

Just watched the fight the other day online

and for some reason I fucking loved it. That was 5 rounds, right? I think a three rounder with a more experienced Sherk could be great.
