Or if your a DirecTV subscriber without Showtime you get nothing.
The Strikeforce card to me looks better on paper but the WEC rarely if ever dissapoints. Probably watch Strikeforce live and DVR WEC just so I dont have to deal with commercials.
It will also help when those TBA’s are finalized and also if the fights end early this time can Showtime show some of the undercard?
Yup, my answer is "None of the above"
Since Comcast has decided to take this pissing match to the end of time with DirecTv. And fight fans (and hockey fans) are the only ones who lose, because in the end, both corporations will make money.

Its no question..
Cung Le, Jacare, Mo Lawal and Robbie Lawler? All of those fights intrigue me.
WEC on TV, SF on PC.

WEC wins out for me. In both cases there are two fights I’m really interested in—Mizugaki/Jorgenson and Benavidez/Yahya for WEC, Lawal/whoever and Lindland/Jacare for SF—but I think the WEC show stands a better chance of being consistently entertaining overall.
Strikeforce has the bigger names but WEC seems to ALWAYS deliver a excellent night of fights. Im a big fan of Benavidez and Cerrone and then you got Horodecki debut. Id almost put money on WEC having the better fights

WEC! WEC! WEC!
I’m all about my fights being exciting AND meaningful.
If I had Showtime
I’d watch SF, but I don’t so… WEC it is!
I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

Neither on TV unfortunately.
TSN normally carries WEC but there is a shitty Edmonton (quite literally) hockey game on instead.
Strikeforce on Showtime requires me to subscribe to a channel that has shit content except for the occasional Strikeforce event, I already pay way too much for cable so I’ll have to suffer with liveblog only.
I may try and find a way to stream both if I have time.
Too early
The Edmonton Oiler game is on CBC that night so wait and see – TSN or TSN2 will likely carry it.

Just put a picutre of a can beside King Mo, it’s bound to happen anyway.

I’m expecting Southworth, maybe Whitehead. Not exactly cans, but not phenomenal opposition either.
Can’t do worse than Kerr though.

The WEC guys have more gas, they'll put on a better show.....
but the Strikeforce card has more star power. I’m sure King Mo won’t take a hard fight right now, who knows who Robbie is fighting.
Does Lindland still have anything? I doubt it. I’m intrested to see how Jacare is progressing though. Cung Le is WAY over rated as an MMA fighter. He can definitely out strike Smith, but Smith has power and is always fun to watch.
The higher level MMA will definitely be on the WEC. I’ll watch both with much excitement though.
Agreed about Cung Le. Only intrigue about his fight is that we probably wont see him for another 2 years.
Really? A dynamic and interesting striker matched up against an iron chinned brawler? My ass is firmly entrenched in my seat, regardless of the name value.

As a Main Event? No thanks. Especially with WEC on.
The best part about Smith’s game is his chin.
Despite his movie, I couldn’t care less about Matt Lindland right now.
I’d like to see King Mo, but SF’s 205 division is thinner then Calista Flockheart.
I don’t know who you’d put up against Lawler.
What if we see the SF/Dream alliance break out all of a sudden and it’s Lawler vs. Manhoef? Yeah… you’d pick SF for that right?

I don't know if it's on purpose or not......
….but this is a great way for Strikeforce to avoid counter programming by the UFC on Spike. Would Zuffa counter program on a night they are having the WEC on? haha! Interesting situation .
DirecTV = I'll be watching Strikeforce

SF here even though i like WEC...Smith never has a boring fight. win or lose
plus cant wait to see who they match up King Mo? maybe Hendo anyone? anyone? never say never !
I like how Nick set this post up, because it shows a stark difference between the two fight organizations. SF has some interesting names that, alone, are intriguing. The card may turn out to be filled with great matchups, but we don’t know yet. The WEC, on the other hand, is all about great matches even if you don’t know too much about one or both of the competitors. The WEC continually delivers in the excitement department.
That’s not to say that the one organization is necessarily better than the other. I just find the contrasting styles of two competing MMA organizations as interesting. Now, they’re going head to head.
