Nope. His shoulders are slouched more indicating uncomfortable body language.

Fedor really brought the house down with that shot. I was very impressed with Rogers, even thought maybe it was finally the night Fedor lost…
Fedor had other plans.

Only one word describes this:
Badass.

Can walking away nonchalantly be a fighters trade mark?
Yes. Yes it can.

All thats left now is for Fedor to go drink some Stoli’s vodka and get on top of his wife.

Smirnoff not pay him enough?

Smirnoff is British, Stoli is 100% Russian.

Unlike some fighters, Fedor is just as comfortable being on the bottom.

I'm sorry...
but if the ref stopped the fight when he did, then he should have in the first round when Fedor was getting GnPed. I don’t think either would be a good stoppage though. Brett was still defending himself and could have turned things around. I’m sorry but to me this fight is not settled.

if by defending himself you mean pretend to be dead i’m with you

by kovy on Nov 9, 2009 3:38 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Theres my point. He was still moving and blocking. None of the punches on the ground got through. I don’t see where that fight should be stopped. Thanks for posting that

Rogers had turtled up dude. He didn't want to fight no more... Look at the poor guy.

Haha is this a joke ? Also the Arlovski stoppage was freaking bad Andrei could’ve gotten up and smashed Fedor if he was only given a few hours to slowly recover

Come on now, it's clear Rogers was ready to bounce right back up

It was a good stoppage.. no doubt about it..
but bringing up that picture to prove that point, is just plain WRONG.. Every time a person get’s tko’d or stopped, they prevent the person from standing up (even if he can) right away for precautionary measures.
by Anton Tabuena on Nov 10, 2009 4:09 AM EST up reply actions 1 recs
Every time, huh?
You may be right. I’m fairly positive I’ve seen many times that people got back up after a TKO or KO, especially if they believe it was an early stoppage. Guess all those times I saw people bounce back up and argue with the ref were WRONG. :(

Had Brett cracked Fedor so hard that it echoed in the arena and made his eyes roll back, sure, it would have been justified. But Fedor trapped Brett’s arms and rolled for a sub. Brett just cowered half-consciously with Fedor wailing on him unopposed.

The comparison is awsome
Fedor….wow. right when you think some one got the key to Fedor’s success ….BOOOM there goes the key down the drain.

Ring. Cage.
I’ll still walk away like nothing happened.

Just like when he “walked away” from the UFC’s deal, right?
I hate this. Aside from Rogers and, maybe, Overeem, there is ZERO COMPETITION to give Fedro.
Had he been in the UFC, do you realize how many big-time matches we could have? Anderson Silva/ Fedro, Machida/Fedro, Lesnar/Fedro, Cecil Peoples/Fedro(only to see Cecil get his fat azz beatdown)….lol.

Yes. He walked away from the UFC’s deal and right into a better one. Can’t blame him for that (well, sane people can’t).

we don't know for sure if it really is better..
If aleks is right, then M1 really whispers dumb shit to Fedor’s ear so they could get more money.. so that M1 could get the better deal for them..
IF Fedor’s brother is telling the truth..

Let's not rehash this arguement, please.
It’s been fairly well established that the Strikeforce deal was more beneficial to Fedor than the UFCs deal, tho the UFCs deal had more (unguanteed) money over the long run.
