Strikeforce and Fedor come off looking good on CBS
Strikeforce made its debut on network TV last night. Strikeforce and Rogers both though came out of last nights event looking good and professional . Strikeforce had a lot on the line last night and hopefully the ratings pulled through , I don't know the ratings at the moment.
The fights and presentation were exciting . There commentary team though i wish would of had the Fight Professor Stephen Quadros , he did the commentary for the Challengers show last night. Mayhems entrance came off very loud and Mayhem like . He will defiantly be back on the CBS cards the crowd liked him and he is most likely the most well known fighter on the whole card to casual fans. The fans also were relatively in to the Shields Mayhem fight, which I was very impressed with since it always seems like people don't like the ground game, and ground fights. This was the best fight of the night to me.
Fedor Rogers went better then I expected. I didn't expect it to make it out of the round and look what happened. Fedor looked more human then he has in his past couple of fights . Fedor was getting Ground and Pounded, which I was very afraid that they may have stopped it if the ref had been different. . Rogers though bloodied Fedor early on which was good. Even in this loss i think Rogers came out looking better and more marketable . They can show him as hungry now to get back to his winning ways. I hope there is more cards of CBS because this helped me expose more of my family to it and to most likely helped expose more people to MMA.

I cleaned up the joke code that MSFT word put in this post
if you must write in word and then post to BE use the little clipboard with a W icon on the editor — just click that, paste in your text from word, hit “insert” and voila, all your word formatting will be preserved with no MSFT code crapping up the disply on BE.
thanks for posting!

Good post but
I disagree about the Miller/Shields fight, the crowd was booing in the later rounds and after the fight was over. They may have been into it at the start but not after 15 or 20 minutes of laying on each other.

The crowd was also booing about 15 seconds into the first fight. It was a ’orrible crowd.

I don't like shields at all.
No specific reason though, for some reason I just can’t stand the guy.

I was there and the crowd seemed fine to me. I don’t recall any booing during the Werdum-Silva fight, but tons of booing for Shields. People didn’t even want to take pictures with him – I doubt Strikeforce puts him on network tv again.
