You can really see what he did. He waited for Bretts telegraph (foot and hands coming apart) then struck quickly. Awesome!

I was pretty sure you were right, but if you look again fedor steps forward on his lead foot to throw before even that happens. I wonder if it was predictable timing or even something in the eyes that clued it in.

Its so hard to tell, it’s so quick. The amazing thing is (not in this clip) Rogers feinted just before this and Fedor didn’t fall for it, yet knew this one was real somehow.

yeah, just watched the slomo of the angle facing fedor from eye level across the cage. Fedor initates the exchange by sitting down on the punch and stepping forward. He saw his moment and pulled the trigger and brett had just enough time to attempt to throw back.
