i think alot we be resolved by monday or whenever the ratings for sat nights event come out. that’s the vibe i get from Strikeforce and CBS alltogether. it seems in every interview with kelly kahl or scott coker about Strikeforce’s future on CBS (and probably entirley) hinges on the ratings of this weekends event. if the ratings are awesome, i can see dan signing alot sooner than superbowl weekend, but if they are just average, he will continue to wait it out. if the ratings bomb, “decision dan” will make his decision pretty damned quick. we’ll see. got my fingers crossed that Strikeforce does a 5 or better and dan does sign with Strikeforce. i would love to see him get his hands on cung le at mw. lots of good fights for dan at 185 and 205 in Stikeforce. he ’s seems a little too hung up on rematching silva. regardless of what dana said, nate marquardt is just as deserving and maybe more than dan for that rematch. dan has also said he would fight marquardt if he gets the money he wants. dan is doing a good job of using the leverage he has for now. after sat night, that leverage could weaken alot.

I like Ariel’s interviews more and more every time I watch a new one.
