Kang on Tapout Radio – http://www.tapoutlive.com/media/7765/110509_TapouT_Radio_Dennis_Kang/

Transcribed by Joshel on the UG:

Fan Support:

Says he has received lots of fan support and anti-Bisping support. Says he doesn’t know Bisping personally, so he is just going fight him like any other fight. Says he will walk out to boo’s most likely, but that is ok he is use to not fighting at home, not being the local guy. He says there is less expectations if you aren’t the local guy, less pressure.

About His Training Camp:

Says his camp went really well, he’s not sick, no injuries, he is peaking right on time. Says he has been training at ATT, with Alves, Thiago Silva, etc.

When asked what happened in the Robert Villegas fight:

Says that it was a grappling match, not even MMA, it was stopped due to a cut. He is confused why it is even listed on Sherdog.

Asked about how much weight he cuts:

Says he is 205-210 when not training. He is about 197 now, he never likes to cut more than 15 pounds. Says the flying doesn’t effect his weight cutting, says you might come in a little bloated, but not to get worried.

Trash Talk with Bisping:

Says Bisping hasn’t really said anything, thinks Henderson humbled him. Says he was waiting/still waiting to see, but he doesn’t care.

Fedor vs. Rogers:

Thinks Fedors will win, but says we can’t sleep on Rogers. Not to take anything away from Rogers, but he wishes there was a better opponent for Fedor than Rogers.

Mayhem vs. Shields:

Says he thinks it will be a mostly a stand up fight. Says its going be a good fight, a really hard to call fight. Says he gives the edge to Mayhem.

Mike Brown vs. Jose Aldo:

Says they are at the same point in their preparation, says Jose Aldo will have his hands full, thinks Brown will put him away.

About travel:

Feels comfortable now that all visa issues are taken care of. Says its good to be training at ATT again.

About Bisping’s Strategy:

Says he might want to come out and brawl to prove a point, or fight from the outside. Denis said he is prepared for both types of fight. Hopes his last fight taught him a lesson about circling, if not he will be in trouble.

For some reason I have a feeling a very cautious Bisping will turn this into a boring fight.

Possible

Bisping is the naturally bigger guy. I don’t think he will let this thing hit the ground very much.

I can see this looking very similar to Bisping/Leben

Ultimately I see Bisping winning this fight. Kang just hasn’t looked good since about 2006.
