Scott Smith, King Mo, Gilbert Melendez Confirmed For "Strikeforce Evolution"
Earlier today while in Chicago, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker confirmed that Strikeforce would indeed be holding an event on December 19 called "Evolution". Coker also confirmed that Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (10-2) would make his Strikeforce debut against Matt Lindland (21-6). No main event has been announced yet, however MMA Recap (www.mmarecap.com) has confirmed with sources close to the event that Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal (5-0), Gilbert Melendez (16-2), and Scott Smith (16-6) are also participating, however no opponents have been named yet.
"Strikeforce: Evolution" will take place from the HP Pavillion in San Jose, California. Scott Coker had the following to say about the upcoming event. "We're calling the card 'Evolution. It's a big card for us as we feature some of the new fighters signed with some of the established, proven stars. Fans will get to see the new and old."
I can't wait to see who they fight.

looks like TBA is going to be busy in December again… poor guy never gets much time off between fights
Yeah, and how he’s able to fight in both Strikeforce and UFC boggles the mind.

At least when the UFC loses its main event they can replace it with a fight where both guys would be SF’s biggest draw.
LOL, dude you must have some kind of UFC protection pager on.
Woohsaw, goosefraba, it’s gonna be alright nobody is putting UFC outta business, buddy.
