That was an awesome jacket on Miller.
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.

Don’t remind him. Balance is a good thing.

the fight hasnt happened yet so Im getting it out of my system. nice site… I see you’re a supporter of M1 ;)
You should do some digging at whats going on at M1… I think after the 3rd fight we’re about to see that Fedor was more possum than naive after all.

Nope, I am not a supporter of M-1. I am trying to be objective. I have “M-1” thing in my signature because it relates to the Russian MMA. It’s like making a web site about American MMA and not to mention the UFC. :)
I think you should stop with all this promises thing. Stop promising things you can’t deliver or things that do not make any sense nor benefit anybody.
OK, you were wrong about Feodr (as well as about other things). No big deal, no need to torture yourself. You failed to keep one of your promises (about Fedor’s next fight being in the UFC). I don’t see how keeping another promise will help anybody – nothing will change the fact that you failed before. You broke one promise – you can as well fail another (about leaving BE). :) Besides, I feel like keeping this promise about leaving will only force you to break your word a little later (when you start posting again, even if it will be under different name).
I personally would like you to stay here. And to stop promising, if you do. :)

I didn’t understand that. Can you elaborate?

mikser
and you joined BE today, just to call someone out. what does that say about you? care to elaborate on any of the interviews that where posted, you know, the original theme of this thread.
i liked gergard and millers interviews, but i see shields winning and no way gegard loses. :)

I joined BE in 2007 and I was somewhat active poster back then. Then I stopped and decided to become read-only user.
I actually rejoined because of this post. Unfortunately BE’s user-base became united with SBnation’s since my last comment, that’s why I was forced to to rejoin (and that’s why my profile shows that I have been registered in SBnation for a few days only, don’t let it fool you – look below at the BE stats).
What do you want to know in particular?

i’m pretty sure there is nothing you can say that i haven’t already before from the likes of your ilk. carry-on.

There are a lot of ideas and knowledge I have, that hasn’t been voiced here on BE (I am very active reader). But whatever. :)

Mousasi giggling as he talks about his fake injury is precious.

Mousasi is the $hit
I’ve been hearing a lot of interviews with him, and he always has this ‘cunning and wit’ about him that is very hard to explain. I expect to see Mousasi in the UFC as soon as his contract expires (unless there is some sort of Champion clause).

I for one am shocked and appalled that a fighter would lie about an injury to pull out of a fight for one org in the super mega alliance but then take a fight for the other org in the super mega alliance and laugh about it in such a public forum.

I would do the same if I were Gegard… it’s not like he’s ducking soko I would never fight where there’s no drug testing at this level.

I’m not saying I blame him, I just want to call bullshit on this “alliance.”
Nothing has changed since the announcement of this big “alliance” they were sharing fighters before. If anything, more shady stuff like this has been happening since the announcement.
by Phildo on Nov 5, 2009 11:01 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
yeah an “alliance” is very difficult to make work… everyone has their own interests and it’s very rare that any play in this business benefits everyone.

Wow. Mousasi does not give two sh*ts about his belt. He talks about it like it’s a pair of earmuffs or something.
by MMAEruption on Nov 5, 2009 10:45 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
You’d get a lot more use out of earmuffs than you would a Strikeforce belt.
by ufc4 on Nov 5, 2009 10:52 AM EST via mobile up reply actions 0 recs
So do you think the UFC should be the only organization that should use belts? About every other small promotion in the U.S. have Champs and belts, are they completely useless and garbage too?
People piss me off…

A lot of stuff about Mousasi reminds me of the come-up of GSP, particularly the accented candor. In the UFC, Gegard can be a MEGA star

News Flash for Mousasi...
Its your dominant performances that will make people stop underestimating you, not the Strikeforce belt.
But seriously, nice interview. Mousasi says as much with what he doesn’t say, as he does with that he does say.

2nd Mayhem interview is great
Man, you got your sportcaster voice on. I love that!
I love America in its entirety. Even dirty, rotten Hawaiians.
This is going to be a circa 1994 me and my dad in the backyard fight. This is serious.
Everyone makes a big deal out of it. ’Mayhem’s Hollywood. Mayhem’s Hollywood.’ Money hasn’t changed me. I’m the same guy I’ve always been. I’m pretty much the same. I just got a nicer jacket.
Here I am. Rock you like a hurricane.

Mayhem has the tools to take this to a decision but I certainly don’t think that he is going to beat Shields. Shields has been flying under the radar for far too long and I’d love to see him finally get the respect that he deserves with a win over a huge name like Mayhem.
I’ve heard complaints about how one sided this card is but there are certainly two fights at least that will be very competitive in Shields/Mayhem and Big Foot/Werdum. I can’t wait for this to go down. Also, Marloes is a beast and I sincerely hope that her fight makes it to the main broadcast. It would be a shame if nobody knew how good she is before she steps in with the giant names that Gina and Cyborg have. Plus, she’s pretty and that always helps for the marketability.

That guy cracks me up. He never messes with that crazy news voice of his.
