Paul Daley: "Carlos Condit is a Worse Version of Martin Kampmann. I Will Win by Knockout"

"(Carlos) is a great fight for myself. He’s a great, game striker. Like’s to have a bang, has some good submissions, and a bit of wrestling. But in my opinion, he’s a slightly worse version of (Martin) Kampmann, in that I don’t think he’s as solid in every area as Kampmann is."

"Of course I think I’m going to win and of course I think I’m going to win by knockout."

If he actually thinks that then he is going to be in for a huge rude awakening, Condit is as legit as they come and even though i’ve been hard on him as of late. He is going to give Daley a dose of reality when he takes him down and submits him just like Shields did.

I’m guessing you didn’t see Condit’s last fight.

Like Condit can’t learn from mistakes?

He didn’t after he lost to Kampmann.

Thats actually fairly good analysis. Also, the title doesnt match the quote. He says hes slightly worse which is a big difference.

Condit may not be a great wrestler, but his takedowns are several orders of magnitude better than what Kampmann showed against Daley. That should be the difference-maker between Kampmann/Daley and Condit/Daley.
