Rumor: CroCop vs Rothwell at UFC Australia

According to GoldenBoy over on the UG, CroCop vs Rothwell is set to go down at the UFC's first foray down unda. CroCop being on the card would make a lot of sense, and GoldenBoy is fairly reliable over on the UG.

it’s a useless fight if you ask me.. Cro Cop should be fighting bigger named fighters IMO.. Crocop vs Liddell or Couture (if when he loses to vera)

they prolly don’t want him to have a sub-.500 record in a fight like that that would probably headline or co-main event a card

chuck has lost 4 of his last five.. Randy isn't so hot either..

Wand and Chuck were both on losing streaks when they fought and look what happened.. People still wanted to see them, people were still interested because it’s two legends trying to get back on track, plus the fight delivered.. I don’t see why they can’t do the same for Mirko..

Nog vs Randy was also a fight where people thought were two “washed up/downhill” fighters that would go at it, but look what happened after, mega fight that was very exciting, and both of their careers are revived..

Ben Rothwell is no push over.. and with looking at how Mirko looks recently, i say he ben has a huge chance of taking this.

Boxing got Roy Jones vs Hopkins.. No one wants to see RJJ fighting lesser names, especially those he could probably lose to.. I want my Mirko vs Chuck..

What makes anyone think that at this point CC can handle a guy like Rothwell?, if anything this will be a nice going away fight for him as he moves on from mma to do someting else.
