Fedor Featured in the Chicago Sun-Times:
"People compare him to the brilliance of Michael Jordan, the dominance of Tiger Woods, and the invincible aura of Mike Tyson."
"Though his name isn't as familiar or his face isn't as recognizable, in the mixed martial arts world, Fedor Emelianenko is the most talented heavyweight in the world."

also for taking the pic of the paper and posting in on twitter and having you steal said photo of the photo.
Its the same photo. The origin is esther lin’s twitter, I am guessing she didn’t take it from somewhere else.
That’s what I meant. Her original photo is on Twitter, and you can’t use those url’s to display the photo’s, so I had to put it somewhere else to show the pic. Still linked to it and thanked All Elbows for it. How is that “stealing” again?
Won't buying the marketing hype
It’s all marketing. I am sorry but Fedor hasn’t fought anybody legit in his last 7 fights. The heavyweight division has been weak for years it seems. Hopefully, he’ll get challenged by Rogers and we will see how good he “still” is.
I have watched Fedor and am not impressed.
It wasn't that obvious
haha. I really do want to see Rogers vs. Lesnar for Minnesota Heavyweight Championship.
agree
It seems like the same people that was in charge of marketing for CBS’s failed EliteXC is also doing the same for Strikeforce. The same brainless commentators from EliteXC also moved to Strikeforce.
It’s all overhype and just pure garbage. Fedor is a good fighter but is NO way near the dominance that was displayed from Ali or Tyson. It’s a ridiculous comparison…just ridiculous

Strikeforce is not the World!
Should say Fedor…The most talented heavyweight in Strikeforce. He is still a timid young pup and won’t venture to the UFC!!
The most talented heavyweight in Strikeforce
Yet he is not fighting for the title… It is a mistake. Its hard to make the case that he is the best and he’s not even fighting for the promotions title.
I don't know if I buy this
Why would somebody care about the Strikeforce title?

because it’s a title and most of the somebodies in the world are clueless and a title would help get them excited.
It’s why there are 7 million belts in boxing and why smaller orgs manage to find a way to hav etitle fights so often.
Curious on the belt situation. I know for fact that Brett one more fight on his contract, and that the way Coker and Brett talk they expect to negotiate for more fights.
But I wonder if reason they don’t want it for a title is if Rogers wins he will have not only the title of being the man that beat Fedor but also a belt he can hold ransom. How would like those negotiating tools to hold over Strikeforce.
There’s also the possibility of 5 rounds instead of 3 – though in this fight, I doubt Fedor’ll need that many.

Hoping for a Rogers KO but
Fedor is tricky and can Rogers stay on his feet for enough time to land a punch? And why do I feel Velasquez could beat the heck out of Rogers if they were fighting. Even though Velasquez is overrated.
They should have done this newspaper piece a while ago. I listen to Q101 and they have been advertising the fight on this station and giving away tickets. I don’t recall the UFC doing this when UFC 90 came to town.
