I would love that, but there is no way Diaz passes any test on such short notice.

by John Nash on Nov 30, 2009 6:52 PM EST up reply actions

Sure he could

He knows how to pass a piss test on short notice. Lots of niacin and H2O. No secret there.

by mburtoni on Nov 30, 2009 7:04 PM EST up reply actions

Golden seal Tea will do the trick just fine and its alot more certain to get the THC out of your systum then niacin and H2O.

Mamed Khalidov or Karl Amoussou would be nice, but Jorge Santiago vs. Robbie “Ruthless” Lawler probably makes the most sense…

by CSKit on Nov 30, 2009 7:59 PM EST reply actions

I would love any of those guys, but it is probably to close to the date to get someone from Sengoku or Dream, so Khalidov, Amoussou, Manhoef, or Kazuo Misaki don’t seem likely. So my preffered choices are Santiago, Hector Lombard (I know Bellator said they’d be willing to allow him to fight in Strikeforce), or Tim Kennedy (maybe that’s rushing Kennedy).

by John Nash on Nov 30, 2009 8:34 PM EST up reply actions

I didn’t think about it earlier, but now would be a great time for Strikeforce to sign Hendo…

Zaromskis

Could the Raging Demon make the weight? I think I’d lose my marbles if they could pull that off.

by asa on Nov 30, 2009 9:19 PM EST reply actions

Too many weight jumpers in Strikeforce, let’s leave Marius at 170…

by CSKit on Nov 30, 2009 10:36 PM EST up reply actions

Let him fight for the Strikeforce 170 @ 185 title.

I can’t imagine anyone that good or great to step in, but who knows. Personally, I can imagine a lower tier fighter stepping in. Just makes one realize how lucky the UFC is to have the Miller brothers to step in on short notice (Matt Brown and Josh Koscheck have stepped in on short notice as well).

by chrisbboy82 on Dec 1, 2009 2:24 AM EST reply actions

Maybe

Mayhem Miller would like to step up, unless that staph infection has him on the sidelines.

Facing Lawler on short notice is a risky proposition for anyone though, hopefully they can at least find SOMEONE
