You’ll see why later."
Can you just tell us what the joke is? Even though it’s a one-person joke at the moment.

All good things come to those who wait. Fishbob will come to you later.

I don’t see anyway that Vera beats Couture in this fight.
I see Couture holding him down, holding him against the cage. Dirtyboxing the hell outta him.

Vera's got solid finishing tools ...
… and Greco. Whether he’ll have the focus to engage and really put it to Randy is the question in my mind.

That’s what people said about Nogueira, too. But then Nog, never known as a hard puncher, started dropping Couture over and over. Just think of what a striker with actual TKO victories on his record might be able to do, given the opportunity (and remember that Vera is no slouch as a grappler either).
I know, I know, “never count Randy out” but it’s crazy to think Vera has no chance here.

who takes this, why?
just curious… I have a lot of questions about Randy after the Nog fight, and Vera has always had me screaming at the tv “do something!” (coaching advice via rampage)

Really? Even when was finishing four straight UFC opponents, three in the first round? He hasn’t shown that kind of finishing aptitude lately, but he clearly has it in him.
Randy is going to have to put Vera on his back early and often to win this one. Otherwise, I think Randy’s deteriorating ability to take a punch will be his undoing. (Or maybe Minotauro suddenly developed huge punching power in advance of the Couture fight. But that seems a bit far-fetched.)

ok... Since his return
he’s had me yelling at the tv, obviously. why would i be expecting him to do more if he never performed in the first place.
So…. you think Vera wins?

Randy by UD.
there is no way Vera can sub Randy, and there is no way he can stop the take downs. since Randy uses the clinch to take down (and he doesn’t usually go for a single or a double.) so i see Randy GNP ing Vera for 3 rounds.

I hope Vera decimates Captain Paycheck.
