Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

1259233214

World Victory Road/Sengoku public relations director Takahiro Kokuho has been released by the company for unspecified reasons, Kamipro reports today. Kokuho was not in attendance at yesterday's big "Dynamite!! 2009" press conference; in his stead was his replacement, Don Quijote managing director Sumio Inamura.

This brings the WVR/Sengoku picture into focus a bit more: Kokuho manages a good chunk of Sengoku's roster under his "J-Rock" banner, including those from Yoshida Dojo. With Kokuho ousted at WVR and none of his gym's fighters on the "Dynamite!!" card, Hidehiko Yoshida's non-committal comments at yesterday's press conference are easier to make sense of.

so who all is on the J-Rock roster?

and does this mean Yoshida won’t be fighting Ishii after all?

From what I know, Ishii-Yoshida is still up in the air. Yoshida probably wants some of his/J-Rock’s guys who were scheduled to be on SRC to get on the undercard of Dynamite, like Omigawa and Kaz Nakamura.

Yeah, this is some crazy stuff going on. I have been speculating for a while now about turmoil within WVR. Kokuho and J-Rock were pretty much the foundation of WVR. I wonder what it all means for the J-Rock portion of WVR and their fighters.
