Brock Larson Cut By UFC, Looking at Strikeforce and Japan:
Following back-to-back losses Brock Larson has been cut by the UFC.
Brock Larson (26-4) re-entered the UFC when Zuffa folded the WEC welterweight division into the UFC.
In the WEC, Larson was a welterweight standout, going 4-1 in the promotion with his lone loss coming to WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit. At the time Larson came back to the UFC his record was 24-2 with his other loss coming to Jon Fitch in an early stint in the UFC.

I don’t know what’s been wrong with him lately, but he’s probably better off with a change of scenery. I hope he signs with SF and I wish him all the best.

Yeah, he didn’t look so great against a fighter who didn’t look so great in his last fight. Plus, he was getting paid like $26K just to show. Zuffa probably considered this a nice pay cut on their end, keeping Foster around ($6K show).

Brock Larson:
Larson leaves the organization with a 26-4 record, which included a 3-3 mark in the UFC and a 4-1 record in the WEC.
“It’s probably a good thing,” Larson stated via text message. “I was having a hard time getting motivated for my last two fights. I needed a change. The undercards just didn’t do it for me.”
