UFC vs. Boxing PPV dilemma (May 1, 2010 edition)
Based upon various rumors and even today's Twitter post from Jason High:
KCbandit "I may have a serious dillema if Shogun/Machida and Pacquiao/Mayweather is the same night. Leaning towards boxing...I know, I know. "
....it seems like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao has a chance to be made for May 1, 2010, the very same night as Machida vs. Rua II. Would the UFC ever move off of their return date to the Bell Centre?
If Dana White elects to not move off of May 1, which PPV would you buy?

Pacman/Money is something that only will happen once a decade. There will be another UFC in June.

I'm not buying a PPV just to see 1 fight whether it be boxing or MMA.
If I thought I might see 4 entertaining fights on the boxing card besides the main event I would buy the boxing card. I don’t see that happening though. So for me I’ll buy the MMA card. Plus if they will be competing for PPV buys the MMA card should be stacked from top to bottom.
Just BE.
here's the thing
if you have HBO, they’ll just show it again a few days later.
7 days later
Also, you can wait 30 days or the next Strikeforce card (if sooner) to see the UFC PPV.
Hmmm, is it possible that the Floyd/Pac fight ends before 11:30 p.m. to ensure there’s time to watch Machida/Rua.
Let’s also not forget that the UFC event could have some other big fights added to it.
Floyd/Pac
Floyd/Pac is an epic event. A once in a lifetime sort of fight of two fighters who are at the top of their game. There will be other boxing matches, but none with the magnitude of this one in the foreseeable future.
There will be other UFC events and Machida/Shogun fights. So I will be passing them on for May 1 2010.
