Saw this for the first time the other day and loved it. Very moving and the use of comic books and ancient art is very original.

he got the idea from a nike ad, nonetheless, one of the very best ive seen. Shit gave me the chills.. Us mma fans are spoiled with the likes of Genghis, Boondock, Machineman, Logangee, and GY.

Definitely definitely rec-worthy and a must-see. Not the best I’ve seen but it’s definitely up there.

Wait, at 4:39 is that Fedor looking like hes about to cry? He has emotions ?!?

Really well done. Although i have to say i was suprised to see that much Caol Uno. And that look on Tommy Speer’s face is just gut wrenching. That has to be the best shot of ive ever seen of a guy thats coming back to consciousness and is disappointed that hes lost.

Also, much better choice of music than most of the highlight video out there. Really matched the tone of the video.

I prefer Machinemen’s Passion. This was pretty good, though.

What was with the shot of the headstone for Filopovic? I didn’t know if he’s ever had a death in the family that has been publicized at all, but it kind of caught me off-guard.

PRIDE used to do the whole in depth family life thing, so it may be from one of those. Or it might just be something for the “right kick hospital, left kick cemetery.” quote.
