After all the shittalk Koscheck does, you would think he has patience for other people who talk too much

He talks a lot of shit yeah, but he doesn’t embarrass himself like Tito does.
His in ring interview with Rogan last night was pathetic.

fukin Bitchant is now crying about a 70k fight of the night bonus!… What happened to doing all this “for the fighters”?
He was literally fucking crying!
“Takin aback for not getting fight of the night”…. Mutherfucker what?!

If anybody should've taken FOTN
I would think it would be Thiago/Volkmann. I thought it was a good back and forth fight with some close moments, which is what i thought FOTN was about. At the very least they knew how to close their gloves, which is more than I can say for Johnson and Kos.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.
by lowellthehammer on Nov 22, 2009 1:41 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
If you delete the footage of the breaks in the round, Kos/Rumble was clearly FOTN. The breaks really damaged the pace and momentum. It was very much back and forth
by szucconi on Nov 22, 2009 1:53 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
If you deleted the footage, yes, but you can’t considering it was part of the fight. Judging the fight based on that, I agree – every time the fight got some momentum someone was falling over and the fight was stopped. Because of that it was difficult to enjoy, thus they shouldn’t be awarded FOTN.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

seriously, foul after foul, pokes, knees, bad acting to use rules to win, it was a mess. that RNC was awesome only because it ended that mess of a fight before the judges could put their hands on it.

That’s a good point, and Tito might think about not getting completely dominated in the last rd. to win a fight of the night bonus.
by scrambledeggs on Nov 22, 2009 2:00 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I think they scrapped the FOTN award and gave PITE award (poke in the eye)

Ditto. Tito is lame. “I sell fights” … Yes and so does WWE and you do it the exact same way. Run your mouth and recite when you were good …. A LONG TIME AGO.
by b_radical on Nov 22, 2009 2:10 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
The only reason he was good back then was because he was able to physically dominate his opponents and he can’t anymore and even then Tito lost to the top guys he fought aside from Wanderlei who he ran from and laid on for a decision.
Honestly what offense does he offer besides takedowns and elbow strikes?
For someone who says he trains stand up on a regular basis he looks no better than he did 8 or 9 years ago stiff and robotic.

Koscheck
Koscheck is just awesome. He was just expressing how I feel every time Ortiz runs his mouth. I would love to see that fight and see Koscheck end Ortiz’ career. He is by far the best wrestler in MMA.

all I heard was. blah blah blah blah blah….. I fought my heart out…. i fought my heart out. I think I won. If I had a dollar for every time he repeated himself I could buy a punishment t-shirt so I could whip my butt with it.
Shut up, Tito.

LOL
That comment would be rec worthy if you had written “wipe my butt” instead of “whip my butt”.

Pretty tasteless, claiming his comeback is the greatest in fucking human history. Fuck straight off. Just from the hockey world, guys like Mario Lemieux and Saku Koivu come back from fucking cancer and still been at the top of the game, not fucking optional back surgery

Haha, agreed. Professional wrestlers have come back after having their necks BROKEN, and one of those, Kurt Angle, has an olympic gold medal. Oritz isn’t doing anything groundbreaking.

Or Saunders for KO. Nogueira’s was more meaningful and showed improvement, but I think Saunders’ was a hell of a lot more brutal.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.
by lowellthehammer on Nov 22, 2009 4:28 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
you could argue that Nog’s was faster and more technical, but saunders could use the recognition more.
def agreed on sots armbar/bicep crush/armbar sequence. that was so much crazier than some weak-ass rnc

Yeah, at least I can understand Nogueira getting the bonus. I have no idea why Koscheck got so much bonus money, but it seems like Dana just throws money at who he liked from the card, not based on any particular criteria.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.
by lowellthehammer on Nov 22, 2009 5:58 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
It was pretty embarrassing. I felt that whoever decides these bonuses got every one of them WRONG. It was ridiculous.
Saunders should have won “KO of the night”.
Sotiropolous for “sub of the night”.
Thiago/Volkmann for “fight of the night”.
Dana and Joe (or whoever picks the fighters who receive their bonuses) fucked up. Am I surprised? Absolutely not. It’s just unfortunate that the guys who should have picked up the extra cash didn’t.

Sotiropolous is the only fight I didn't see
I thought Kendall deserved Sub of the night. What he did was beautiful. Uno vs Camoes was a solid back and forth, could have gotten FOTN but it seems that the UFC hates draws. I think Thiago vs Volkmann should have gotten FOTN. Kos did not deserve sub, although he did look impressive as hell last night.

“I put my heart and soul into it”
“I thought I won”

In other news….
Tito thinks he won the fight.
His career is in Dana’s hands.
Tito thinks he won the fight.
Forrest is ranked fifth in the world.
Tito thinks he won the fight.
Tito had back surgery.
And Tito thinks he won the fight.
