Around SBN: Pacquiao vs Bradley: Potential Undercard Fighters

Hector Lombard Defeats Kalib Starnes at Australia CFC "Down Under":

"Hector wasted no time in getting the fight to the floor, delivering a ground and pound attack until Starnes had enough. The ref stopped the fight in round one."

"Hector has now reeled off 11 straight wins and has not suffered a loss since 2006. Look for Hector to defend his Bellator title in 2010."

not surprising; good that he was able to keep active. but at 30 years old, it’s time for him to really see if he can make a run or not. not sure if bellator will really offer him the right opportunities.

Good stuff. This card was supposed to happen back in October, but they had to cancel when Lombard got a concussion in training.

Dylan Andrews won on the undercard as well… wonder if the UFC is looking at him for their Aussie show…

I am pretty sure Bellator would have something to say about that. Though, Lombard wan’ts to avenge his loss against Mousasi. =)

Ah

We were both too stupid to notice that.

I would like to see Lombard fight in any organization aside from BFC. They are not as active in putting on events and I think Hector would make for an interesting addition to Strikeforce… I remember a while ago the UFC had them on there website scheduled to fight Karo @ WW, did he weigh less then?
