I wonder if they’re doing the Spike prelims and, if so, what fights will air. It’s hard to pick, I like all of those undercard fights more than Amir/Baroni.

I know those are the obvious two, probably
But I’m a Minnesota boy, so the subsequent two are of great interest to me, Sotiropoulos is in high demand after his absolutely sick pass & kimura on Roop and you should be pretty excited about Camoes vs Uno (I know I am).

I hope Saunders beats-down Davis – Swick was too much, too soon for him.

How is Phil Baroni Back In The UFC?
He couldn’t beat Frank Shamrock or Joe Riggs!
They needed an easy fight for Amir in which he wouldn’t get hurt.

I’m actually underwhelmed by this card. Part of the problem might be its history. I mean it did have Brock vs. Carwin for starters. Another problem is I’ve grown spoiled by all the stacked UFC cards over the last year. 92, 94, 100, and 101 had multiple Champs and p4p kings on each card. This one seems weak in that regard. And with the recent showings of Forest and Tito the main event doesn’t compare to even Big Nog and Randy’s in terms of divisional significance .
And even the fights that I love seem like a let down. Lil’ Nog vs. Banha is a great undercard fight, but it drives me nuts that this is one of their big replacement fights for Lesnar and Carwin. Great, except everyone knew it was already going to be on that night, so its not like we’re really getting a replacement fight.
One thing I can’t complain about is Koscheck versus Johnson – except for the fact I wish they had full training camps, but I’ll take what I can get.
Well Kos was going to fight in December and Johnson just had a full camp for his fight at 104 so it’s not like they’ve just been sitting on their asses.
Maybe we differ on this
You know how I know I’ll enjoy a card?
If the fights are competitive matchups that are difficult to forecast.
If the bouts contain fighters that put on exciting fights.
If the card contains fighters that I personally enjoy.
Check, check, check.
Not everything has to be about a title picture and a high buyrate doesn’t make any difference on my bank account. This is an awesome card with or without Brock vs Carwin.

Totally agree with you
the one thing I would add is variation in the match-ups.
I fully expect to see everything on this card.

UFC 93, 99 and 103 were three of my most anticipated cards of the year. Part of the letdown is probably due to the main event (I’m just not that enthusiastic about Forest and Tito) and that the announced replacement bout was Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Luis Cane. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about this fight. It was my fight of the card when first rumored. But it was always rumored to be on the card, so it’s a pretty big letdown when the big new fight is the fight you already knew was going to be on the card.
I haven’t heard anywhere that Cane/Lil Nog was considered a replacement fight. Johnson/Kos was named as a replacement co-main.

I was looking forward to Almeida Fitch and Lesnar Carwin...
but it’s okay, at Hazelett is still there. and Forrest vs Tito is a lot better than Tito vs Coleman..
