This is why I’m picking Mayhem. I can’t see Shields working any harder than this, and if Miller can stop the shot, then its his.

I’ve been reading around the net once our Mayhem video got out that Jake couldn’t possibly be training as hard, and that’s balls because I was there to watch him train and Shields is training so hard he had to run up and down the California coast, taking everyone down in his path. So rest assured, both sides are killing it. There’s no reason to underestimate either fighter in this title bout.
Expect an amazing fight.

A new all elbows video and a new genghis highlight….excellent.

Mayhem is more likeable when he’s tired and not acting like a chimp on crack.

ekc!
You did an awesome job as usual. I don’t see Shields doing anything serious in this match. Mr. Miller is going to administer an ass kicking.

I'm a big fan of Mayhem
He’s been talking a big game lately, claiming that he’s taken his fighting to the next level.
I hope this is true, he’s always had it in him to be a great MMA star. He just needs to start laying down some serious beat downs on American TV.

God
I hope Shields busts his face in… I’m just hoping…
I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

I've got Sheilds by UD
I like both of these guys as fighters, I just don’t think Mayhem’s going to be able to stop Jake’s shot. Jake has a great wrestling skill set to go along with his jits. If Shields is able to pull out the sub in this match it will be huge. Getting the sub on the guy Jacare couldn’t sub. Its fights like these that make me love Strikeforce. They seem to get a lot of criticism around here, but they make some really interesting fights. Diaz/Shamrock, Shields/Lawler. They make consistently make compelling matchups out of limited resources.

I don’t know what makes you think they are getting lots of criticism. I’ve seen pretty much nothing but positive opinions on this site about Strikeforce… after all, we’re all fight fans who happen to very much enjoy great fights on free TV. The only area I’ve really seen criticism is that people are disappointed that we won’t be seeing Fedor vs. Brock or Mousasi vs. Machida any time soon.

Uh oh.
He’s exposed his weakness! All Shields has to do is wear a shirt!
