Josh Neer's Manager: "He Will Be Back in the UFC After a few Wins"
"Unfortunately Josh was matched up with fighters that wanted to take him down and lay on him to grind out a victory. If you are going to take Josh down then at least try to finish him, just don’t lay on him and hold him down. Most fighters are not going to want to stand and bang with Josh, and they just want to play it safe, hold him down, and get the win. Josh wants to put on exciting fights, and there is nothing more frustrating to Josh than not to put on an exciting fight for the fans."
"Right now we have a few offers from different organizations that want to sign Josh immediately so we are just weighing our options, and going with the best opportunity for Josh. Josh will be back in the UFC after he wins a few fights outside the UFC. We appreciate all the support Josh’s fans have given him." -Mickey Dubberly

Let's hope not
I hate watching Josh throwing his hands up in the air after every round he can’t stop the onslaught of takedowns he receives. That kind of complaining during a fight is something i can’t stand. Why don’t you learn some damn defense if your so tired of being on your back every fight! He didn’t even show decent standup in either of his last two fights and hopefully he never gets signed by the UFC again.

It is hilarious to me when he does that. Though it is kinda sad, his guard is really good but not quite good enough to get the finish over the guys he is fighting but active enough that he never gets a stand up.
A man should never waste an opportunity to keep his mouth shut.

agree
The complaining thing was getting tired.
He should be complaining more to his team and himself who didnt get him ready to prevent take downs or how to escape them. If you dont like being in the position then learn to avoid it. Whats worse is that he blames his opponents for not putting up a entertaining fight. Neer wasn’t helping his own cause by getting taken down over and over. And you can’t fault an opponent for not wanting to get into a sloppy brawl

Unfortunately Josh was matched up with fighters that wanted to take him down and lay on him to grind out a victory.
How about you get him to work on his damn takedown defense. That’s the sorriest excuse I’ve heard in a while. He basically just acknowledged and accepted that Josh sucks.

POOR JOSH! He was matched up with fighters that had the skillset to beat him?! OMG! HOW UNFORTUNATE FOR HIM!

Who was it that said....
“If you can’t stop me from doing what I want, there’s no reason for me to stop doing it?” Way relevant here.

lol wow yet and then everyone hates on McKee
i dont get this web site….i have been reading and posting here for maybe 3 months or so…i have never seen people that change their minds more then on this site. few weeks ago people attacked me cuz i said winning is winning(how ever you do it)….. and people responded pretty bad to it. but now some how doing nothing but shooting for a double and LNP is good? wow talk about double standards, i could care less about Neer or Tibau. its just im freaking surprised at PPL>

You think I was praising McKee for being a Blanket?
Oh, hell no. McKee is a shameless fighter that will never make it into the big leagues. “A win is a win” is bullshit. In this case Neer just got outclassed. People knew his weakness and exploited it.

Its too bad Neer is not as talented as say a current UFC star like Mac Danzig. Maybe Neer can get a few wins under his belt so he can get back to that level.

![Hermes Franca and Josh Neer fight this Friday at Max Fights DM - Ballroom Brawl 4:
- Hermes Franca (19-8) vs. Eric Wisely (8-1)
- Josh Neer (25-9-1) vs. Matt Delanoit (13-8)
Josh Neer talks to mmaunltd.com:
"I think I should have been given another fight. I had two back to back losses, but both were decisions, and I felt like I was the only one who actually 'fought' in both fights. I also feel that in both fights I was cheated out of 'Fight of the Night'. If either of those guys [Pellegrino and Tibau] actually fought, we could have made some money."
