Meh....

I am not paying for this one. The only fight on the main card that even remotely interests me is the Johnson/Koscheck fight. I guess it might be fun to watch Hazelett remove one of Parisyan’s limbs but not for $50.

So that makes Kos the favorite?

Some great value here

+400 on Camoes? Jesus. That might not be a bad deal.

I noticed that too. Uno is good and everything, but +400 for Camoes seems crazy.

Jacob Volkmann

I feel like there’s money to be made betting on Jacob Volkmann.

From the UG:

I think Volkmann at those odds is a can’t miss bet…thats nuts!
100% agreed! The only reason the odds are so horrible is that no one knows who he is. He is a legit beast.

by Nick Thomas on Nov 18, 2009 2:16 PM EST up reply actions

More from the UG:

damn – i was seriously thinking about betting a grand at +400.

I train with Volkmann and I can honestly say he is the best grappler I have ever rolled with. He is the only person that I truly hate to grapple against.

by Nick Thomas on Nov 18, 2009 4:16 PM EST up reply actions

Disagree...

Paulo Thiago showed some advanced jiu-jitsu transitions and a good defensive base against one of the best in the division in Jon Fitch. I think he’ll prevail.

I see value on Johnson, Sadollah, Saunders, and Camoes.

It’s hard to put money on him, I want to but we don’t know what tito we will get. Forrest might be highly motivated though.

there’s value on tito, johnson, cane, and saunders. would do a small play on volkmann cause of the odds.

Tito, baby!

Also, bet on Baroni.

I’m totally banking on Phil Baroni’s fury putting Sadollah into la-la land.

I agree!

No way Baroni loses this! Not to fighter bash, but amir is not a fighter!

by SHOGUNROBBERY on Nov 18, 2009 3:12 PM EST up reply actions

Amir is one of the calmest fighters I have seen inside the cage. He always seems to keep his head no matter how bad the situation and find a way to win. The only one to beat him was the damn ref.

A man should never waste an opportunity to keep his mouth shut.

Tito/Baroni parlay

Made that bet a while back and it looks better and better as the fight nears. Not that there are any locks in MMA, but Baroni is not going to lose. Tito should win, but such a long layoff with back surgery???

I’m pretty amazed at a lot of these odds. Rumble, Baroni, Saunders and even Forrest are all great value. Tito’s name value alone has made the odds for his fight, I think Forrest will win.

WHERE ARE THESE LINES FROM??

need to bet some money on Fabricio!

Thinking about making my first small time MMA bet...

This card looks absolutely ripe for parlays from what I understand…but how many should I be looking at on a parlay before it gets silly?

For instance, I was thinking about a Spyder, Christmas, Kos Parlay, but then I was looking a bit further and I’m pretty sure Jones has his fight against Hammil locked up.

Then the second question, is it worth it at any point to throw on extra bets that add the Griffin/Tito fight going either way.

We’re talking small money here, like 10$ bets, with maybe a couple of 5$ bets if I added Tito/Griffin as an extra bet.

Any pointers on things I should know before jumping in would be great.
