Takanori Gomi Training at American Kickboxing Academy:
Dave Camarillo: "Gomi is at AKA today. Fight training is packed!"
Sherdog: "Bob Cook, one of AKA’s head trainers, said the Japanese striker "mostly grappled" with UFC welterweight contender John Fitch, Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson, Justin Wilcox, as well as with middleweight Trevor Prangley and UFC heavyweight Cain Velasquez. "

Before he got trucked by Nick Diaz, sure. Since then, he’s just been going through the paces. I mean, sure, get him in there, but I can’t bring myself to really care at this point.
Training with AKA is a step in the right direction for Gomi, though.

Well, if he’s going to be in fights like the one against Diaz at PRIDE 33, then I’m all for it.

Rascal Vs Rogue
Gomi vs Diaz was the fricken best fight! Gomi always puts on a good show. I can’t wait till he hits the states. War Gomi!!!!!!!!!!!
Well Gomi has great hands already. His boxing is a thing of beauty. But he really needs to be working on his ground game, that became obvious when he lost to Kitaoka. Does AKA have good ground instructors?
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.
Between Dave Camarillo and wrestlers like Koscheck, Fitch, Velasquez, and now Daniel Cormier, they can teach the ground game pretty well.
