[Update] M-1 Global announced this week that Lloyd "Kadillac" Marshbanks will rejoin Team USA East, replacing the previously announced Ness Harris at heavyweight for the finals.

Interesting to note that this is Team Legion and not Team Imperial (AKA Red Devil), which had a combined record of 2-13 this year. That’s worse than MMA powerhouses Bulgaria and Spain. The only team that did worse was Turkey.
Makes you wonder what the UFC would be like if they had caved to Fedor’s demands and signed these terrible fighters.
Is there any word on why Delson Heleno isn’t fighting?
There is a difference between Team Legion or Team Imperial fighters and M-1 Global fighters. They are not the same thing.

Team Russia Imperial is made up of the same Red Devil fighters that M-1 was trying to sign to the UFC as part of a rider on Fedor’s contract.
They changed their name from Red Devil to Imperial because Fedor was uncomfortable with such an un-Christian name.

Will this be televised in the US?
Ricky Hatton came closer to beating Manny Pacquiao than Marquez did to beating Floyd.

On a more positive note
Could this springboard Ansar Chalangov back into the UFC?

No, but it’ll springboard Kadillac into God status. Fat boys who can pass guard by belly flopping are always enjoyable.

hmm
I don’t seem to be able to reply to posts at the moment, but my comment above was supposed to be in response to the Team Legion vs Team Imperial comment above.

Something weird is happening with my browser wherin "reply" has no effect
However, let me say in response to Leland above that if this springboards Kadillac into any sort of status at all I’ll be thrilled, because the man is awesome.

Teams USA East
Teams USA East is more likely to be a Team Brasil 2! ‘cause more than half team is brazilian ! I don’t know why they have two american(actually is a brazilian) teams, two russians teams, and not two brazilian teams, when everyone knows that brazilians are the best mma figthers all around the globe !
Results so far...
Yuri Ivlev, Magomed Shikshabekov and Ansar Chalangov seal victory for Russia early with three straight wins. 205 and HW still to come.

![This is M-1 Global, This is the M-1 Challenge:
"Dana says there's no way he's going to do a co-promotion. How bad does Dana want to prove his fighters are the top in the world? If they want to say they got the top fighter in the world. Prove it. We're willing to prove it. Fedor's willing to fight anybody anytime. And he is, he's willing to fight anybody [but] on equal terms. We're not asking for more. We won't settle for less -- we're not asking for more though. Fedor will fight anybody on equal terms. So if Dana believes he has the best fighters in the world then shut up or put up. It was the same thing when I was at PRIDE. We got the best fighters in the world. Let the fighters fight. This is what it's about: the fighters fighting. Dana's made enough money, now let the fighters fight. If the fans want to see Fedor and Brock Lesnar, then let them fight. Whatever it takes, let them fight."
"Obviously they want to make the most money, but if they truly care what the fans want to see, then they'll do pretty much whatever it takes to make that happen cause we're asking for just equal treatment. That's it. That's all that is."

![When will you be back to the rings for the event?
The next [M-1 Challenge] is on Korea, on July 4, in case I don’t receive any invite from a bigger organization. I’m negotiating with a bigger event and I’m waiting, if it happens I’ll tell you guys from TATAME.
-- "The Arm Collector" Giva Santana, who just added one of Min Suk Heo's limbs to his trophy case at M-1 Challenge in Japan. Santana went 2-1 with ShoXC, the lone blemish on his 12-1 record coming in a razor thin decision against Jaime Jara. Eleven of his twelve wins are submissions by way of first round armbars. Santana would be an interesting addition to any major promotion's middleweight roster.](http://cdn3.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/50404/default_small.jpg)
