Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Rich-franklin

A rumor on the UG forums traced back to Greg Savage, has Rich Franklin returning to action against Keith Jardine in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia in February. If the rumor pans out, the bout will likely serve as a co-main event with Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama.

good matchup..

they’re both are sort of in limbo, so a win for either would show where both guys stand in the LHW division.

Really bad for Jardine here if he loses

If this fight comes to fruition, then it really shows that the UFC will just NOT give Jardine a break. I’m not much of a Jardine fan or anything, but I think that he deserves easier fights. It is a good fight though, but if Jardine loses, it will be three losses in a row for the Dean of Mean.

Would this be the first ever matchup between a TUF fighter and his coach?

There were no coaches on Serra's season

This would be the first case.

Pulver was a coach on Joe Lauzon's season

but he wasn’t Lauzon’s coach, so I guess that doesn’t count…they also fought before Lauzon appeared on the show.
