Elizabeth Lambert should fight Cyborg or Gina Carano in the cage

Have you seen the viral video of New Mexico women's soccer player Elizabeth Lambert beating the holy hell out of BYU? The announcer on ESPN even says it has some "MMA qualities to it." I think this should immediately be capitalized upon by Strikeforce and sign Ms. Lambert up for a fight against either Cyborg or Gina Carano. People would tune in to see her get her just desserts for the cheap shots. She could be the new Kimbo Slice. Make it happen, Coker!

Thats so funny, the best part is that she was never called for a penalty all game!

lmao!

when she yanked down the byu player by here ponytail and just slammed her to the ground and just looked up as if nothing happened was classic. your idea is best but if it does not happen the new mexico lobos (0-9)could use her on defense vs the byu cougars this weekend. peace to elibeth lambert,.

they already punished her

but i have no doubt that she’s always played rough in games (most likely with her coaches knowledge too) and that she’s only sorry because she got caught this time

She's got good power in her hands.

But how will she do without her soccer kicks? :)

Several of these moves would not have been legal in MMA. The hair pull in particular is incredibly cheap and dangerous.

That chick rules. The only two egregious acts on her part (punching and the hair pull) were both in response to cheap shots by the other team though. First you have the elbow leading to the punch. That’s obvious. The hair pull is a bit more difficult to see, but if you slow it down you can see the other girl grabbing some crotch, leading to the takedown.

The girl who got pulled down by the hair was grabbing her shorts to try and stay in front of her for when the ball comes her way, that doesn’t warrant get yanked down by the hair. The elbow shot was slightly cheap but she shouldn’t have gotten a cheap punch in the back from it.

She deserved to get banned. If she wants to act like that then she should try out for Rugby, where other girls would give her fair treatment back for this kind of thing.

While I’m sure it’d be amusing, the last thing female MMA needs is a high-profile freakshow fight.

On the other hand, if Gina Carano or some other high level female fighter did an episode of Bully Beatdown that could be pretty kick-ass.

Dude thats insane. Those girls must of had some beef about something outside of the game
