Bobby Lashley in Strikeforce maybe?

Lashley wouldn’t take that fight. It’d be nice to see AA get a W on CBS though.

Yeah,
If Lashley fights, it will be Waterman, most likely. Though, no guarantees. Their fight could easily be moved to December.
Antonio Silva vs Fabricio Werdum is in the works…

AA wont fight in CBS
a fight involving Andrei was on the verge of being finalized, however anytime there’s contract negotiations, there’s always the chance things could stall or fall apart. This was one of those circumstances where things fell apart at the 12th hour, and a deal is not yet finalized. As of now, Arlovski still remains in discussions with one of the major promotions, however there will be no fight involving him in the Strikeforce promotion on November 7th, as has been rumored.

Yup, cuz they got Antonio Silva vs Werdum to fill up that slot.

really?
I don’t think they were really trying to match up AA and Werdum..

Frank Dux was once clobbered by Zane Frazier.

But Dolph Lundgren is the man. Respect that.

I THINK
off the top of my head, I think this is the 4th one. But Andrei has to be better than Bill GOldberg in the 2nd one.. right

there was the awesome original with jcvd and dolph, then two unofficial sequels with burt reynolds (???), then the one with goldberg. now this is technically the 5th, but the third in the official storyline.
i take this very seriously btw.

My guess is he a fights a couple of cans just to get himself back into the w column, and there’s really nothing wrong with that for now. If he can put together a 2 fight win strike, he will probably be relatively marketable as a big draw again soon.

Agreed. 2 good wins and people will forget. I’m still a fan. IMO he should have never taken the Rogers fight. Fans are so fickle these days. Look at Anderson Silva, one minute he sucks balls and the whole arena is booing him. 1 pwnage later they worship him and he can do no wrong.

AA will still be negotiating. Couldn’t find a spot for him on the Nov 7th show. EVERY fighter wants to be on the televised portion because they will get PAID by sponsors.
Not sure if he will take a fight in Sengoku, Strikeforce, etc.
Strikeforce will let Antonio Silva fight in Sengoku though, so they have no problems either way.

So what did he annouce? I don’t feel like signing up for his website just to find out. Anyone get the news yet?
by KillerInstinct on Oct 8, 2009 10:36 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Well, they were SUPPOSED to announce
That he would be fighting on the SF card November 7th but apparently negotiations fell apart at the last minute so they, apparently, announced nothing.
Walla walla walla I'm an idiot.

I guess he was supposed to fight Silva or Werdum, but Strikeforce decided to book them against each other?
