here's to Ricco's recovery
the guy has real talent, back in the day he was a factor in the heavyweight division — sure he’s a bit one dimensional — but he and Big Nog pioneered skilled BJJ for heavyweights.
I’d love to see him make one last run at glory.
Don’t see him getting any belts, but would like to see him fighting in a way his fans can be proud of.

Yup
Was kind of sad how far he’d fallen. Hopefully he’s on the way back up the hill.

What is the heaviest Ricco has every weighed in at? and what is he at now? ATTN: ROY NELSON, THIS IS YOUR FUTURE. YOU WILL BE AWESOME.
He weighed in at 300 against Waterman in '06...
…but I thought I remember hearing he was up to like 340 or 350 at one point after he got busted and suspended.
I believe he weighed around that when he fought Robert Beraun at Rage in the Cage.
He even wore a shirt during that fight to cover up his fat.

wow Rico might still have some good fights in him
i hope he gets back on track…i like all fighters to do good…for me if some one is risking their life for my entertainment…..IM pleased.
I was skeptical when I saw he was at -218 for ADCC.
He looks to be in the best shape is his entire career. He is better than a lot of the guys the UFC has picked up over the last 6 months, and I think they should give a former champ another shot. There could be a Randy vs Ricco rematch, which I’m sure would be popular with the fans, a rematch with Rothwell could also happen.
However I think a Nog vs. Ricco rematch would be a hardcore fan’s treat, although I don’t think Nog would have much trouble nowadays.
Any word on scheduling a fight for him?

I still find it difficult to fathom how in shape he is
This might be the best shape of his career. I hope the early losses at ADCC don’t shake his rediscovered drive.
