War Machine in negotiations with Strikeforce:

"Do you think we will see you fight for any of the larger organizations soon?
Strikeforce, actually, I might fight there. I'm in negotiations to fight there in November, but it's still up in the air.

Would that be on one of their Challengers shows?
Yeah.

Have they offered you an opponent?
There are a couple in the air right now -- I don't know if I'm allowed to say yet -- but nothing is confirmed. We're trying to figure all that out right now."

Some other gems:

"How are you feeling out of the gym? Do you feel at peace with your life right now?
No, never. I think that, eventually, I'm going to have to move out of the country because I don't think I will be able to survive in the United States too much longer before going to jail.

Why?
Because I don't think there's nothing wrong with beating somebody up. I think a lot of guys just need to get beat up. A lot of guys, they act like idiots when they're out and they need to get beat up. I don't think there's nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, in this country, when you beat somebody up, you get arrested, and it's too hard for me to follow the rules, man. One day, hopefully, I can leave the country and live somewhere so I can be more free.

Don't you think you would run into the same problems anywhere else in the world?
Yeah, but if I beat them up, nothing would happen about it.

You don't think so?
In almost any other country you get into a fight, nothing happens. It's not a big deal; it's not like you are killing somebody. It shouldn't be against the law to fight. Back in the day, in America, you could fight and nothing would happen. The cops came and break it up. There's a lot of countries, I know for a fact, you get into a fight and nothing happens. They break it up and you go your separate way; it's not a big deal. You know, sometimes people, they need to get beat up. That's their fault for acting stupid. I think, definitely, they'll be idiots in other countries, but if I beat them up, nothing happens."

War Machine is certifiable

but I think a fight between him and JT money would be pretty good

JT Money has been kind of going away from his demeanor he showed on TUF (if you are talking about fighters with crazy personalities). As far as a fight goes, stylistically, this fight would not be good for War Machine because JT is mainly a wrestler.

I don't mean that first

but I would anticipate some pretty good trash talk.

And i’m not talking about stylistically, i’m just saying that when you talk about their skill levels, they’re probably both like B level fighters at this point, and strictly speaking of strength of schedule and their records, they’re at about the same caliber

Taylor would probably grind out a decision though

Everything I want to say here would constitute fighter bashing.

War-Machine

I think he might do better in a country like, let’s say, Japan, where his lips could spend time doubling as a sideways vagina.

dear war machine

whatever country you decide to move to, please make sure they don’t have microphones or internet access

Would be a good pickup for Strikeforce if he can stay focused and out of trouble. Not the easiest of things for him of course but still, good stuff.

The Challenger events would be a good way for him to prove himself and see if he could handle getting into the bigger shows.

Yup and if he can keep it clean he is a marketing goldmine for them He’s been on TUF, he fought in the UFC and he’s a loud mouth who talks smack but can back it up. People will pay to see him get his ass handed to him and then when he usually won’t theyll start to like him.

War Machine has been ducking a local Ohio stud prospect Roger Bowling for quite some time. Funny thing is, Roger Bowling is getting a tryout fight from Strikeforce in his next fight with MMA Big Show. If Roger wins, he gets signed, so maybe we can finally see and enjoy Roger smash the face in of War Machine, because War Machine has been running away worse than Kalib Starnes.

I'm curious

How is someone who trains out of California ducking a “local Ohio stud prospect” for quite some time?

Because they have supposed to have fight 2 times. Roger broke his hand and the other time War Machine backed out, and has been talking a lot of shit about Roger Bowling, but MMA Big Show (Ohio based) has been trying for a very long time to get his fight to happen, but every time they come close, War Machine backs out.

Roger Bowling is the real deal man, he also has a chance to go to Strike Force.
