I never understood why he stopped
I had heard that they were talking with HBO about a behind the scenes type thing.
Some people said he needed to stop which I never understood either. People need to understand the world is changing and finding new ways to get people interested in your product. It is why facebook, twitter, and youtube are important.
It’s also why newspapers and broadcast news are dying is people do things differently now and they refuse to adjust.
He “stopped” because he made some comments about homosexuals and women that got him into some trouble. He had a tantrum because some people were offended and declared he wasn’t making them anymore and (iirc) was going to stop talking to the media.

Those comments were made back in April during an UFN blog and he continued to do blogs until either 100 or 101 I forget which one.
Either way it should be good now. Dana just gave an exclusive interview to Sherdog.

The UFC is responding to the scandal over Dana White’s video blog by scaling down his public persona and interaction with the media. According to Dave Meltzer there will be no more video blogs, less stuff with the press, and no reality show.
He can’t resist the limelight.

I still dont think that post was correct
Because he did the blogs up until 100 or 101 he didnt stop in April.
Anyway not trying to argue but it really seems like he only quit doing them for maybe 101, 102, and 103.
I also dont think its Dana cant resist the limelight I just think most fans appreciated them and the fighter blogs just were not as exciting. Maybe your right but I think more people seek out Dana for interviews than Dana needs the limelight. Dana just doesnt give prescripted answers like a lot of others do and that can be a good and a bad thing.

“I made the decision not to do the blogs anymore. I am the one that took them down,” White said on Tuesday. “They were fun while they lasted, and thanks to everyone for the support.”
The news comes as a surprise given that White did not cease producing the blogs even after his Youtube rant against Loretta Hunt caused such controversy.

He stopped doing the blogs for a few weeks at this time. Then he did a blog with him holding a bunch of sings with a piece of tape over his mouth saying that the blogs were back, so he did some more, than he stopped doing the blogs again.

He was supposed to stop them, but couldn’t bring himself leave the cameras. Then he (sort of) did stop them, and tada! He’s right back in front of the camera.
As I said elsewhere – when will people stop listening to what Dana says as if any of it holds a shred of truth?

hey i need help here trying to write a speech for my college public speaking class im goin with the topic new york and massachusetts should legalize and requlate mma can any one tell me what states arent legalized and which arent regulated currently and is there realy any other negative debates hear other than the fact that some old fart politicians dont know what it is and still think its human cock fighting i know this aint the right post but hey anyone that can help me with this or any other valid points i can make would be greatly apprecitated please help

no not write it for me i already got like 4 pages of notes just looking for facts i might not have thought of or havent exactly found a clear answer to like what states exactly are legalized and regulated which are just legal and which are still out right banned i have an idea but im confused due to a lot of info im reading is outdated

Don’t just dispel others opinions as if they have no idea what they’re talking about, even if they actually don’t. Present their side, and then give your rebuttal using facts and statistics from the various studies that have been conducted on injuries and such in MMA. Also talk about the economic impact a UFC event would make.
