He is right about Herschel Walker

Walker suffers from multiple personality disorder and people want to see him fight?

He once stated he held a gun to his head and didnt even remember it and yet he can get sanctioned to fight?

Look I’m not anti-Strikeforce or anti-Walker but when the guy cant even remember winning the Heisman Trophy what good can come by putting him in a cage where he can get ko’d?

HE’s totaly right not only does walker suffer still from dissociative identity disorder but have you heard some of the shit he was done in theat interview a few years ago with his x wife. He has been arrested for spousal abuse she also said he would keep her held hostage for days whiloe he was in one of his so called personalities. Same thing with his mother out of Herschals own mouth in a interview he said " A few of the personalities hated my mother and would abuse her mentally and physically". So much more crazy stuff over the years also just read up on him and check out the interview his x gave.

Judge Dana all you want. But you cannot deny he tries to do all he can for the fans of the UFC and MMA in general.

He has just given away over 1000 + tickets for UFC 104, mostly to legit fans. I don’t see anyone else in combat sports doing that.

Any business model that revolves around between 1-5 “marketable” stars and tries to compete with Dana deserves it. Don’t act like he’s a savior?

Now ask yourself where MMA was going before him, and where it would be without him?

Right. UFC has been able to sell a TON of PPV, in a recession, and has been successful in improving their numbers consistently for the last few years. They have great sponsors, and their fighters make more money for their own sponsorships via the broad viewership of the UFC. They have established working relationships with ESPN, and are in constant discussion about bringing TOP TIER MMA to network television, or somewhere like HBO (while having SPIKE to air fight nights, Ultimate Fighter, etc…) They put on a ton of good shows, and have the majority of the best fighters in the world and are leaps and bounds ahead of ANY org in regards to their roster.

Affliction failed due to their own incompetence… IFL was better but lost on their own merits (lack of funding, and revenue, plus horrible format) WEC was bought, and technically so was “PRIDE” (who also failed on their own merits). DREAM and Sengoku (raiden?) are overseas, and have had there own worries in regards to MMA floundering a bit in JAPAN. And Strikeforce has the best HW in the world with a HW division thats about 5 fighters deep.

Blame Dana as much as you want, but in the end, he doesn’t really mess with organizations that don’t try to compete with the UFC. Once you step on the field opposite Dana and his team, he isn’t going easy on you. Period.

the ufc , boxing and all mma orgs “paper” their events to fill the arena. alot depends on how much they have to give away, and the ufc does a better job of selling out arena’s and breaking their attendance and live gate records, including big time rock/music concerts, than anyone else.

Everyone is pretty much in agreement that all the attention dana created by quickly making the fight night and his consistent talking helped Banned in the PPV department.

People listen to dana more than they listen to everyone else. If he isn’t talking about SF, less people are going to know about it.

Well at least Fedor's opponent finally gets some credit

Tho this is only pre-fight credit , for example before the Sylvia fight I remember White saying Sylvia was a real opponent for Fedor but after the fight , White said Sylvia sucked shit. So expect White to say Rogers sucks shit if he loses…
