MFC 22 Results: Travis Lutter and Antonio McKee Earn Decision Victories
Promoted to the front page from the FanPosts by Luke Thomas.
In the main event, Travis Lutter edged out the hometown favorite and fellow UFC veteran, Jason MacDonald with all three judges scoring the bout 29-28. Lutter says his jiu jitsu was the key to the fight:
"I definitely felt my Brazilian jiu-jitsu was the difference in the fight. When I was on top, I passed and when he was on top, he couldn’t."
In the co-main event of the night, MFC Lightweight Champion Antonio McKee kept his winning streak alive, as he dominated Carlo Prater on the ground for the duration of the contest. McKee, who hasn't lost a fight in almost seven years, had this to say after the contest:
"I really think I’m the best at 155 in the world. Who’s going to beat me? (MFC owner) Mark Pavelich can try and find whoever to take my title, but I’ll just beat down their a-- as well."

Amazingly, the score for the McKee UD
was 29-28 across the board when he clearly won every round, and at least one could have been considered a 10-8 since Prater was offering absolutely no offense whatsoever.

Yeah I can only assume Prater won the 3rd
But I don’t agree with it. McKee didn’t do much either in that round, but Prater at best earned a draw round, which would have generated a 30-28 score on my hypothetical card.

It’s a good thing Alessio ended his fight, because there’s no telling who the judges would might have awarded that one to.

During the first round, I pictured Jordan Breen having an aneurysm when the commentators implied that you couldn’t have a 10-10 round under the 10 point must system.

I thought the scores were correct, Neather fighter did anything in the 3rd round put Prater did more with that sprawl and the punches he threw while in that sprawl. I thought bolth Schiavello and Mezger totaly overexaggerated how boring that fight was. Mckee `had some nice GNP in the 1st and the 2nd especially in the1st McKee was dominating Prater, I don’t think it was eniff for a 10-8 round though ? Mckee actually did somewhat what he said in the 1st 2 rounds he opened upmore and was more aggressive with his GNP, I was glad to see that. AS for the Lutter MacDonald fight if there was ever a fight in recent memory I wish the judges would of scored with the pride/Dream scoring system it was that fight. MacDonald in my opinion with all he did in that last round desereved atleast a draw. Lutter did nothing with all those dominat positions he got nothing and did his classic gas out in the 3rd round MacDonald just did not have the skills to put him away. All in all I don’t ever see Lutter ever making it to a BIG show again especially the UFC. MacDonald is a long was away also but I see him back before Lutter.

I was upset to hear that Fioravanti lost. Hate to see a fellow hell hound get KO’d. Hope he comes back even stronger.

He wasn’t knocked out cold, but he took a very clean shot right on the chin and was flashed. He might even have been able to struggle on for a bit, but after he fell he was more or less looking right at the ref with a completely vacant expression and there was little choice but to hop in and end it.

Lutter made it 3 rounds without passing out?
C’mon now, this has to be a mistake.
