Houston Alexander confirms possible Kimbo Slice fight at UFC 107
UFC light heavyweight knockout artist, Houston "The Assassin" Alexander has revealed the sensational news that he will step back inside the octagon on December 12th in Memphis, Tennessee to face none other than "Ultimate Fighter" season ten star, "Kimbo Slice".
Despite UFC President, Dana White refusing to comment on the rumoured fight this weekend at UFC 104, Alexander reportedly made the announcement himself on his Nebraska radio show, although he declined to say anymore when calls came flooding in.

In a move that could strengthen the case for his rumored fight against Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, Houston Alexander will soon apply for a fighter license with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Interesting – giving Kimbo a guy with a reach disadvantage and no ground game.

Except...
that Houston has more power, better technique, more speed, and more diversity to his striking game.

Are you sure of that? Houston has looked incredibly stiff and not fast at all in his standup game. The only time he’s put anyone away is when he can grab onto them, hang on, and then throw strikes from that position. I’ve not seen him successfully stand and trade, move in and out of distance, and avoid getting hit while landing anything himself. Leg kicking Pendergarst doesn’t prove much diversity, IMO. Kimbo looks to have the much superior boxing and handspeed.

Yup
Doesn’t look good for Kimbo.

This is a match made for Kimbo and I still don’t give him much of a shot.

Heavyweight or Light Heavyweight?
Seems like they’re trying to cater to Kimbo, so might as well bring Houston Alexander up. He’ll probably come in around 225 to Kimbo’s 235.

Both have a huge fan following, no ground game, suspect chins and knockout power – should be a good fight
