Mayhem on MMA, MTV, science and dancing:

I talked with Dana White a few days ago. Here's what he said about you in particular: "Here's the thing with Mayhem Miller. He can (bleep) dance all he wants, but this is fighting. Mayhem should probably focus on his fighting and not his dancing."
- (Laughs) We love Dana White. We think Dana White -- he's such a glorious and intelligent man. I think anyone in their right minds can see just how genius he is. He's brought the UFC from nothing to everything, and it was all his doing.

I can't tell how much of that you meant.
- (Laughs)

If Dana calls you after you beat Jake Shields, are you going to listen?
- Nah. I'm not interested. If I wanted to sell my soul, I'd be a Christian...

I can't put my finger on it

But I really detest Miller and hope Shields demolishes him.

Other way around for me.

Yeah, I hope Miller wins. I’ve never really liked Shields and I think he’s overrated.

I’m taking Miller over Shields.
But it doesn’t matter who wins because Jacare will take the belt from either of them early next year.

I am in the same boat completely when it comes to detesting miller. Taking nothing away from him as far as a fighter, and if he beats Sheilds then good for him, but I hope he falls off the face of the earth soon. Dude irritates the crap out of me. I bought UFC 52 a few years ago, and the backstage feature turned me into a life long hater of Miller, and he’s done a good job keeping that hate up.

Hahaha. Excellent catch.

Giving Shogun his props. I had the fight 48-47 Machida but Shogun put up a monumental performance and I am honored to have seen it in person.

I’m interested in hearing more about how you think believing in Christianity is the equivalent of hosting a tv show.

by Simco on Oct 29, 2009 3:08 PM EDT up reply actions

Wut?

It’s the equivalent of selling one’s soul.

How is that selling his soul, Mayhem gave up nothing to be on the show, does nothing on the show, and gets paid. That’s some good selling.

by MMASuPreMaCy on Oct 29, 2009 6:57 PM EDT up reply actions

Hahaha

It’s pretty sad that my explaining the direction of his joke gets a literal explanation from you. Go watch some MTV…

I believe what MMA Supremacy is doing is being more direct in mocking the aforementioned comment and those who would agree with it.

by Simco on Oct 30, 2009 2:06 AM EDT up reply actions

except, i dont think his show is an act of conformity. For him , it’s more creativity, free expression and learnig rather than caving in to the man. of course i think he would sign with the UFC if he were offered say…Dan Henderson kind of money.

Anything else to say about Jake and how much damage you want to do to his face?

He’s just such a good-looking guy, and I’m so ugly that I cannot wait to win one for the ugly guys.

Even Mayhem thinks Jake Shields is hot.

by MMAInFeRioRiTy on Oct 29, 2009 2:44 PM EDT reply actions

I like Miller, he makes me laugh. I hope he beats Shields.

by swells2048 on Oct 29, 2009 2:48 PM EDT reply actions

The more and more I see Miller...

The more and more I really like the guy. I hope he crushes Shields. I like watching him fight and most of the time it’s for free. No complaints from me.

Listening to the Jason Ellis show on sat radio on my rides home (if you dont, start) has turned me into such a Mayhem fan boy. The dude is hilarious.

I bet no one can even mention the last time Mayhem was subbed (Its only happened once when he was just starting out) and hes fought some of the best in GSP and Jacare.

by MMASuPreMaCy on Oct 29, 2009 7:00 PM EDT up reply actions

How did those fights against GSP and Jacare turn out again?

by ufc4 on Oct 30, 2009 9:20 AM EDT via mobile up reply actions

Lots of Shields hate

He’ll not only win this fight (against a quality opponent in Mayhem, I should add), but he’s hot and Mayhem isn’t a good family man.
