FINALLY! A solid quote from Joe Stevenson. “I will punch Shinya Aoki in the street” is in the running for quote of the year

The rest of the interview got cut off
“And after I punch him in the street, he’ll fall down. And then, after he falls down, I’ll get on top of him, and then I’ll pass his guard, and then I’ll keep punching him, and then I’ll punch him some more. And he won’t be able to do anything about it, because I’ll be really motivated, and then I’ll punch him some more, until he cries. And then he’ll apologize.”

Hope Joe learned something
All it takes is a few seconds and one line to make a solid quote. Unlike the rambling he usually does every other time a mic is put in his face.

Joe is starting to talk a lot of smack. I’d love to see him fight Aoki in the UFC.

Joe Stevenson v. Shinya Aoki
Stevenson should probably just punch Aoki in the face.

LOL this fool is crazy
GOGOPLATA in the first round, the only person that could hang with Aoki is BJ and maybe the YES! man. (with LNP).

An honest question
Why all the Aoki hate? I’m not saying it’s unjustified or justified, I just know the source of it all. I like to think that I pay attention to everything MMA, but the source of the Aoki hate seems to have eluded me. I’d be grateful for a clarification.
Thanks!

Aoki/Stevenson...
stems from Aoki stating that he was upset that Stevenson beat Diaz, because he (Aoki) wanted Stevenson to get cut by UFC so he (Aoki) could fight him.

He is utterly one dimensional. I think people feel very passionately about that one way of another. Either he is the greatest thing ever on the ground or he is dramatically over rated because of his weaknesses. And as CSKit said, here specifically there is history.

I do agree..
Aoki is one dimensional, but the Shaolin fight showed that he is willing to alter his game to win. He kept the fight standing, respecting Shaolin’s ground game, largely due to the fact that Shaolin had previously beaten Aoki’s teacher, Yuki Nakai.

He’s one dimensional, but it’s one hell of a dimension!

Because he talks a ton of shit
And gets away with it because of his appearance.
PS; I love Aoki.

I like how he starts to accuse him (Spencer) of greasing then changes his mind.

Seriously
He wins and proceeds to call the loser an idiot who possibly cheats.

If he wins and calls him a cheat then everyone calls it an excuse. If he wins and hints as cheating you now seem slightly outraged.

Good lord, Cofield, let the man you’re interviewing talk. This is why I never ever listen to the radio.

Then Aoki would pull guard and hit the back of his head on a fire hydrant.
