K-1 MAX 2009 Tournament Final Results (with Videos)

K-1 MAX 2009 champ Giorgio Petrosyan and the retiring Masato will meet on New Year's Eve
It was a fun (if somewhat predictable) morning of fights for those who braved the 5AM ET start time to watch TBS' broadcast of the 2009 K-1 MAX finals, but at least we know now for certain who will face Masato at "Dynamite!!" on NYE - it's "The Doctor."

I was half asleep for the show, but…
- I’m not sure if that was officially Kozo Takeda’s last fight, but… he’s done. Kraus took him apart and Kozo was never in it.
- It seems like opponents have either figured out Nagashima’s no-defense style or his chin has just gone. Oh well – doing anime voiceover work is probably more lucrative anyhow.
- Petrosyan looks unstoppable. I don’t know who can beat him right now, but I definitely don’t think it’s Masato.
