That’s 4-for-4 in MMA for Elena, all by TKO stoppage. Shame that Strikeforce isn’t interested in female 115-pounders.

You shouldn’t complain when they’re putting dream match-ups like Couture vs. Vera.

That was pretty awful. They both looked spent in the 3rd round… at 115 lbs… no one? Bueller?
I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

From all accounts, it was a pretty wild fight through the first two rounds, and Yoshida acquitted herself better than what we see here.

I suppose a “USA” chant is pretty much par for the course for an audience at a show called “Extreme Beatdown.”

!["I really want to fight [in America] and I'm open to offers. God willing, I'll be there soon. I'm making my way, step by step. I want to face [Cris "Cyborg" Santos], but at the right time. I don't want to skip steps, but gradually get there," she says that while waiting for international opportunities, she wants to return to the Bitetti Combat octagon.

!["I intend to do some training and Muay Thai fights to get back into the ring, and soon be able to meet great fighters like Cyborg [Santos], India [Gomes] and Carina Damm who, despite being in [weight classes] above mine, I admire a lot and mirror professionally." -- Fabiana Belai, the Muay Thai fighter who some are calling "the Brazilian Gina Carano"
