Light Heavyweight King of Pancrase Ryo Kawamura (10-5-2) will put his title on the line against 26-year-old Yoshida Dojo product Shunsuke Inoue (7-3-2) at Pancrase's final show of 2009, December 6th at Differ Ariake.
A former DEEP Megaton Grand Prix finalist, Inoue won his 205-pound debut on Sunday, pummeling IFL vet Kazuhiro Hamanaka in under a minute. He's won three straight via first round stoppage and is 6-1-2 in his last eight, his only loss coming to DEEP heavyweight ace Yusuke Kawaguchi.
Kawamura has spent the last two years floating between Pancrase and Sengoku, where he's suffered dominating decision losses to Mo Lawal and Kevin Randleman, and was most recently knocked out (for a second time) by Chute Boxe's Fabio Silva at Sengoku 10.
